Hotel Schlosskrone    

The location was great, and the on site pastry shop was excellent and very reasonably priced.

We stayed in mid-May, and the temperature was relatively cool outside, but the rooms at the hotel got uncomfortably warm at night. Due to the location on a busy street we couldn't open the windows at night to cool the room. Coupled with the fact there is no air conditioning, we had difficulty getting a good night's sleep.

Room was wonderful, large bathroom, windows over-looking castle. Breakfast was very good and fully inclusive. Location was close to rail station.

Confusing to find room. Up to 1st floor, along corridors to next lift to 4th floor. Situation on main road next to roundabout may be noisey in peak season.

The breakfast was amazing

Large room modern 2 person bath. Friendly staff. 5 minute walk to train station. Location 10 minute buss from train station to castles. Motel restaurant has scrumptious pork knuckles.

Ringing bells continuous for 15 minutes starting 05:45 AM

Warm welcome at the reception. Clean and well located near Neu Schwanstein (6 min drive). I arrived late and could park on the street just next to the hotel as the coin parking was free before 8 a.m..

The only small thing negative was, the bathroom smelled of something like sweat. It seemed to come from the shower curtain.

Excellent hotel, brilliant location with all necessary and quality facilities.

Wifi didn't really work in my room.

Well positioned. Very comfortable room and facilities. Very friendly accommodating staff. Excellent restaurant. Accommodates gluten free very well.

Charging 9 eur for using the car park sounds like too much when paying already 185 eur for a single night in the hotel. Car park use should be for free if you stay there. Room 111 was noisy (just facing the street) since we had to sleep with the window open (it was warm in the room)

The SPA and relax area was included in the price. Great Buffet for Breakfast Strategic position in the city centre.

Perfect hotel with nice restourants.

We came for the breakfest at 10:00 AM (deadline was 10:30) but it was almost nothing to eat and staff was about to clear the buffet.

Great location in Fussen close to the castle and some shopping and the marketplatz. Very comfortable and modern rooms and great bathrooms. Breakfast was outstanding and included.

Tight parking garage but it is on site and very convenient.

Lovely rooms, located well in the middle of town, fabulous breakfast and great staff.

Great location - sauna area - breakfast

Our stay at Schlosskrone was a real highlight of our trip. It is convenient to the train/bus station for those taking day trips, and has great restaurants. Free breakfast was delicious and the free wifi was blindingly fast and easy. Extremely comfortable. Do not miss the bakery! It's out of this world.

No air conditioning in the room is the norm for many Euro hotels, but opening windows could be noisy at times due to rowdy vacationers on the streets below. A very minor issue.

We stayed at Kurcafe hotel 5 years ago & we really enjoyed our stating. Now they've improved mainly with the new building. The meal was fantastic, the breakfast superb.

We loved this place so much, we extended our stay. The rooms were great and the onside facilities were top notch. We took lots of pictures, hoping to recreate this feeling at our own house.

Breakfast is complete with good variation. The reception staff always been very helpful.

During our stay , the hotel hosts many groups and breakfast becomes a mess with a lot of people, full tables, missing foods and always with free/empty tables with "reserved" sign mostly part of the time. Breakfast have common flaw like most hotels in Europe: there is no tags with the name of the food, juices, etc. The room service was terrible during our stay where during four days we need to constantly call to reception asking to change our towel, new toilet paper, clean the trashcan. The basic ... The poor room service was so constantly during our stay where make us go to reception ask how the hotel works just to make sure there is nothing "special" of the hotel or our reservation, and the answer just don't match with the services... should change towel every day, clean trashcan.... We stay on room to four people on the 2th floor in the second build and is maze to reach into our room, always need to get 2 elevators , corridors and stairs. The alternative from the restaurant is get stairts + corridors + elevator... very very very annoying . The elevator from the second build have sewage stink every day, every hour, sometimes the smell was so strong it gave us sick. Internet just not work inside of the room. We need go out of room to able use the internet (with difficulties) . I complain with the reception where told me they will restart the wifi router, but nothing was better after that (what I not have sure if they effective restart the router) Don't accept American Express credit card.

The location is nice and is very central

We arrived at recepotion having pre booked a parking space and find out htere isn't one free, the reception told us there is plenty of parking in town by the theatre (no directions to this theatre) we found our own parking! At dinner we were greeted by a rather unpleasant member of staff who pointed us to a table, after around 20 minutes he came back and took our order. It was put on the table we sorted out which meal belonged to who. Finally Breakfast, we were pointed in the direction of an unmade table with 3 chairs and she disappeared, we found another chair, we had to go and find someone to lay the table for us. To conclude, this hotel is rated at 4* and charges the price for a 4* hotel.I wouldn't rate this a 2* hotel, very poor service, very poor attitude from the staff (apart from the receptionist at checkout). I will not return to this hotel and certainly would not reccomend it to anyone.
