Small friendly hotel on outskirts of Munich. Reception staff all very helpful. Easy to get into centre of Munich on tram system.

We liked the hotel very much. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is not bad, it is situated in a quite good neighborhood, very close to the Nymphenburg castle and only 15 minutes from the center by the tram. This is one of the best family hotels we'd ever seen, seriously.

The host Sebastian is an amazing individual, he'll make sure you enjoy your stay. All the staff where the nicest and most helpful people in all of the hotels Ia stayed in Germany (other 5). The hotel is very close to the S-bahn, there is no need of taxis. The hotel is in a really quite spot. There is also a free computer in the lobby with internet access.

We were not made aware before our stay that maintenance work had or was being done. From our understanding there was varnishing of the doors done within the week before arrival. In order to mask the smell a strong floral liquid deoderizer was put in the room. The result of my stay was a horrible migraine, if the hotel had only warned us and we could of made other arrangements. When checking out we told them that we only had one breakfast because I was sick due to the smells, they did not charge for my husbands breakfast. However that was not the point, the hotel should of posted a message on booking com, warning guests to give at least choices to us..... I would of been happy to pay extra for my health in a different room or hotel. Generally I ask about these types of things that could impact my allergies but having read the hotel reviews felt this would not happen at this hotel ! Lessons learned, it was not an experience I choose to repeat.

Nice and very clean rooms. Staff is friendly and helpful, they will give you all the informations you need about the surroundings, restaurants, transportations and so on! The location is very quiet and relaxing, near a beautiful castle. The city center can be easily reached in a few minutes by train or by car.

We were so lucky to get room upgrade to a nice apartment. Very nice staff.

This was a really great hotel! Try it, you won't be disappointed!

Great Value for Money. Location in a silent and rich suburb of Munich, though city center is easily accessible by tram. Simple, but comfortable room. Decent size (not too small as many guests mentioned). Easy and free parking around. Good breakfast, friendly staff, clean rooms. Close proximity to famous beer restaurants. Overall, better experience vs standard chain 3-star hotels.

Small cupboard and too small safe in a room.

Excellent customer service. Very helpful staff - especially Sebastian. Excellent breakfast. go the extra mile - we had flowers and wine in room as we told then it was a romantic break. Not far form mail public trasport route.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed, Mr and Mrs Sebastian are very very friendly, and the cosy atmosphere is better than 5 stars hotels. I really recommend Hotel Laimer Hof!

Room a little on the small side; but this could have been easily sorted by sliding doors on the wardrobe, a mirror in the bedroom and perhaps moving the mini-bar somewhere else to stop me whacking my legs

Very helpful and friendly staff who were able to provide information about activities and transport. Very close to the palace and park for walking. Quiet location. Several reasonably priced restaurants in the vicinity. Good coffee available.

Rooms and bathrooms on the small side, and beds were adequate, but not the most comfortable.
