Lovely location.Great friendly family run place.The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. The food was excellent. Free public transport.Everything was just right for exploring the Black Forest and Freiberg. Ludwig is the perfect host and speaks excellent English for those with only basic or no German! Cannot think of a negative at all! |

Good service in a really good location. I was a solo motorbike traveled and there was secure parking for my bike. The bedroom and bathroom were really well appointed and the food was excellent. I was not able to pay using my Mastercard and I wasnt aware that it was only a cash payment until I was checking - I only had just enough cash o me and this should have been pointed out to me when I booked. |

From the moment we were greeted, Ludwig and his parents were great hosts. The room was super clean while the bathroom was very modern. And eating in their restaurant for dinner, we highly recommend it. We will be visiting again. We have nothing we didn't like about the hotel. Super job! |

The host, Ludwig, was very amiable and helpful. The room was nice and the bathroom comfortable and clean. The location is remote and quiet. Breakfast at the hotel was nice and so was dinner. |

Zeer persoonlijk en vriendelijk onthaal door de eigenaar en zijn familie. Kamers zijn zeer ruim en zeer goed uitgerust. Onmiddellijke omgeving biedt vele mogelijkheden (wandelen, fietsen, tot shopping in Freiburg). Toeristische plaatsen zijn zeer goed bereikbaar door centrale ligging. Het restaurant verbonden aan het Hotel is werkelijk uitstekend!! Ook zeer goede prijs/kwaliteitverhouding. Werkelijk topatmosfeer!! Sterke aanrader voor wie het Zwarte Woud of in een ruimer kader Duitsland wenst te bezoeken. Kortoùm, alles was zeer goed 10/10 !!! |

We stayed at this hotel to break our journey from Austria back to the uk. It was a very welcome discovery to find we had picked such a pleasant and relaxing location for our overnight stop. The welcome from our host was excellent and the room provided was newly decorated and very comfortable. The hotel gave the best value for money of our whole trip and we used the restaurant for our evening meal. I would happily recommend this hotel for a short stay in the area. |

The location of the hotel was pretty much in the heart of the Black Forest. Hotel owners were very friendly and there to accommodate all your needs and answer all your questions. A special mention and thanks to Ludwig. The fact that we have to leave the hotel again. |

We were a small group and they made us so welcome. Two cars got lost earlier in the day and did not arrive until mid night. And they were still made welcome. Lovely family. Good food. Very clean. Will most certainly return with others at a later date. |

Host is very kind and friendly, speaks a little Italian. Excellent breakfast, the room was very clean and confortable. The place is lovely, located in the heart of the Black Forest and not too far from Freiburg, that could be easily reached by train. |
