This family run guest house is quietly located on a sunny plateau in the scenic Black Forest. Landgasthof Berghof offers a large garden with a natural outdoor swimming pool. A TV and private bathroom are included in all rooms at the Landgasthof Berghof, and some rooms have a balcony. Rooms are decorated with carved wooden furniture and also have panoramic windows offering views of the mountains and forests. The rustic-style restaurant features traditional décor and carved wood furniture and benches. Regional Baden specialities are served here and on the terrace. Overlooking the village of Gremmelsbach, the Landgasthof Berghof has free Wi-Fi and is an ideal base for hiking, cycling and cross-country skiing. The children’s playground offers a climbing frame and table tennis table. Badminton and fishing can also be arranged on site. On-site parking is free, and Triberg Train Station is 6.5 km away. All guests receive a complimentary KONUS card, which includes free use of local public transport and ski lifts as well as free admission to cultural attractions. All I can say about this hotel in the country side is it is a place I would go back to over and over, but then again I love the countryside over cities. The staff was excellent and I would especially like to say the young lady from Romania who attened to our needs was wonderful. Highly recommended for a wonderful get away.

A very tipical german country house. The old lady running the place is the kindest person in Germany. She can't speak one word in english, but she managed to make us understand everything, including the dinner menu,bringing a pc at the table, with the german-italian translator. Good breakfast. It's a little bit far from the main road.

We liked the breakfast, the atmosphere was amazing in the resturant. The room was very cold, the tempature outside was in the upper 30's and the heat had not been turned on. The room smelled like sewer.

The position of the guesthouse on top of the mountain 850 meters high! Stunning views and even in April still quite a bit of snow on offer Even being on a budget, there was no hairdryer available on request; the owner said she wouldn't need one and when I asked about the guests may want one she replied that for that money it couldn't be expected!!! One to share between all the rooms available, I can expect, even on a budget

The lady that runs the hotel is very nice and a wonderful cook! She was very helpful and patient (as we didn't speak German and she didn't speak English). Our room was clean and had a nice sized balcony. The view was amazing. The road leading to the hotel is very winding and far off the beaten path. It's not far from Triberg but it's a difficult road to drive, especially at night.

Amazing food, friendly staff (Oma is an awesome lady) comfortable countryside hotel, will stay again if I go to Triberg Booking.com didn't mention cash only policy of hotel, or I just plain overlooked it. Again Oma was great and allowed us to pay for the room after dinner and an afternoon of site seeing.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was great. You couldn't ask for a better location to relax. Our kids had a great time as well. The internet was free and the drive up to the hotel was typical of country side locations. My GPS/navi got us there with no problem. It wasn't a problem for us but be prepared to bring your own toiletries as many German hotels.

La atención del personal del hotel, pese a no hablar más que en alemán...nos hemos entendido perfectamente. Las habitaciones amplias y las camas muy cómodas. Y la cocina muy rica. Reseñar que el hotel está en el alto de una montaña a 4kms del centro de Triberg.

El entorno, la limpieza y la atención del personal. Es un hotelito familiar Lejos del centro y la carretera angosta. Si no tienes coches ni lo pienses. Si tienes coches es económico y en un entorno increible.

Sehr freundliches Personal, sowohl Wirtin wie auch Bedienung. Sehr gute Küche. Kleine aber vollkommen ausreichende Auswahl an Speisen. Zimmer sind einfach, aber sauber. Super Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr frühes Schliessen des Restaurant am Abend, ca. 8:00 Uhr. Also gemütlich am Abend noch etwas trinken ist nicht drin. Vielleicht lag das an der Saison. Wir waren im Februar da.

El desayuno fue abundante El hotel ofrecía wifi, pero al preguntar por el nos dijeron que en ese momento no tenían internet... El acceso es invierno es complicado ya que no retiran la nieve de la calle de entrada.
