The hotel is located near the airport, which is very convenient.

Not much to do around the hotel. Good only those who need a place to stay near the airport.

Very unfriendly (reception) staff to the point that it was their priviledge for us to stay at their place. Close to the train tracks so it was very noisy and very close to houses and the cigarette smoking and bbq smoke drifts into the room. We ask for wake up call and they did not wake us up, all they have to do is tell us they don't have the staff so early in the morning and we would have find alternative.

I liked waking up in what I experienced as a genuine deutschische village. The atmosphere created by the staff was very welcomming.

When I reserve this hotel I was kinda afraid due to very low rate. I was wrong. Absolutely nice hotel, excellent service and don't miss dinner here. Don't expect a 5*hotel for for the money paid surely you will get much more. Lastly for those travelling from Munich airport, hotel is 10 min drive no matter traffic or not

Nice clean rooms, polite and competent staff. Free parking and close to train station...Double Bock Beer was amazing!

Transport to the city center is not that convenience. You just need 4 mits get to Freising station and change to metro u2 to the city enter, but from Marzling (where hotel located)to Freising, there are very few trains pass by.

PLace Staff almost everything beside price, I'd rahter pay more but not stay there.

It was a very good value, they took credit cards, and it was very convenient that it also had a restaurant.

The internet was somewhat limited.

The shuttle bus to the airport is instant and well priced. Beds are comfy and warm

Shower was temperamental. On a floor with lots of families who woke me very early and made a lot of noise for 20 minutes, this is not so much the hotels fault but the inconsideration for others by fellow guests.

It was a traditional hotel with all the trimmings to match. We loved the authenticity of it. The service was very good and we were even offered a lift into Freising the morning we left. A lovely memory for us. The breakfast is really good and the conservatory where we ate was very pleasant.

The pillows! They were feather pillows, rather limp.

The atmosphere and design of the Gasthof was very homely and warm. The staff were friendly and accommodating, for example asked whether I would prefer a menu in English or German. When I said I didn't mind, they actually brought me both. Location was absolutely perfect as I needed to be near Munich airport. My friend and I paid just 10 euro each to be driven personally to the specific terminal for our flight, which made our travels incredibly stress-free. We both thought this was a brilliant service. The food served was lovely, hearty, traditional German food. I thought it was very good value for money and would definitely stay there again.

There was no lifts. While this was not a big problem for me, it makes the hotel unsuitable for disabled guests. My room was obviously in a smoking section of the hotel, as the corridor leading to it reeked of smoke.

Value in relation to price. Closeness to Munich airport. Quietness, friendly staff, great shower, very clean and pleasant room.

Close proximity to airport and offers shuttle service for 20 Euro. Good for an overnight stay prior to early morning flight.

I rented the bottom of the barrel room and it was okay. I got what I paid for and it was worth it. This place served the purpose I intended.

The breakfast room was beautiful! A hearty and filling breakfast buffet of offerings to get you started on a wonderful adventure. Full menu available until 9:00pm (when I was there). Food was delicious and fresh. The English speaking woman at the counter was very helpful. Fast WiFi. Reasonable shuttle price and a 10-15 minute ride to the airport. Be sure to let them know ahead of time that you need it. I took a room with a shared bathroom (down the hall). It was always available when I needed it and it was very clean.

I wish the smoking and non-smoking rooms were separated. The odor and fog of smoke was in the hallway and permeated my room.

I stayed in this hotel one year ago, and after this stay I will never come back! It smelled sigarette smoke all over the hotel. We were the only gusests in the hotel while all other hotels botn in Munchen and around the airport were full. It is not difficult to tell why. 4 hotelguests in the house and they were all forgotten, no attension at all! The hotel offers shuttlebus to he airport, and I marked my reservation that we would need this. But, it seemed that they did not offer this at all. After a discussion a person came to drive us to the airpoirt in the old shuttlebus. It was not difficult to se that he did not like this! He drove like it was rally, handling us 4 guests like rubbish. 120 km/h in 80 zone. We were happy coming to the airport alive! Our conclusion: the hotel does not want hotel guests, they just want to sit in a corner, eating and drinking with local people, forgetting the guests exist. No wonder the hotel has all rooms available while other hotels are full. My advice: choos anothwr hotel!

The staff was very helpful and professional. The room was very clean with updates. The lobby and dining with great German decor.

Walls are somewhat thin between sleeping rooms.

A bit more than you could expect from close-to-airport hotel for 50 euros/night. For additional cost you can take nice evening buffet with grilled ribs (9 euro) and morning breakfast (5 euro). There is also fine beergarden downstairs. The excellent beer served.

No shower curtain and ano shower holder, some /minor/ problems with WIFI.

Breakfast was very good, the staff very frindly and helpful. Nice to also be able to have a good dinner in the gasthof.

We planned to go to Munich by train and the trains are not very regular from this little train station, they only run every few hours.

I was looking for a budget accomodation for short stay close to the Munchen International Airport and Landgasthof Nagerl matched that criteria perfectly.

I stayed overnight only that's why I cannot give a full review of the hotel but staff was very nice and spoke fluent English.Room and bathroom were clean.As the hotel is very close to railway lines noise from passing trains might be disturbing for some.Having said that when window is closed I almost could not hear the train.Also be aware this is not a "no smoking" hotel and I could smell a cigarette smoke sometimes on the corridor and in my room. Generally I was satisfied because I was looking for a budget accomodation for short stay close to the Munchen International Airport and Landgasthof Nagerl matched that criteria perfectly.

The staff overslept the starting of breakfast. They arrived 6.50 and breakfast should have started 6.30

The price was excellent for visiting during Oktoberfest season. The breakfast was 5 Euros and had plenty of cheeses, cereals, fresh bread, meats and fruit to choose from and a nice garden room to eat in. Very quiet and the staff were polite and professional.

I had the single room with shared bathroom- but what the info does not say is that you are sharing with 10 other rooms. Bathroom was very basic and I would advise bringing sandals to wear while showering´- with that many people sharing. Also, the train is a 10 minute walk and the ticket machine was broken.
