The hotel was clean and the staff was very nice
The pillows were terrible. Was like sleeping without one.
Staff were very nice and friendly, amazing breakfast, nice location and the shuttle to the airport was great at €25, I see some people giving out about it but its a flat rate, whether it's one person travelling or 5 the price remains the same, we paid €12.50 each, that's pretty good I think!
They precharged my card for €63 the day before we arrived!! I saw the amount missing but had no idea where the money went. upon arrival I was charged again - €49 for the room plus the €25 for the shuttle, I don't know how or why they were able to a) charge my card without a signature, b) change it for €63 when we'd booked the room at €49. It wasn't until I arrived home and contacted my bank that I realised it was the hotel, i thought I'd spent the €63 in a shop or something. I contacted them and the money was put back in my account but it took a week.... Not good. We arrived late at night and had trouble finding it, I liked the rural location but there were no shops around at all. The pillows were awful... Waaay to soft!! I barely slept at all, with church bells going off all the time and also the trains go right past the building. It was a nice place but after the money hassle and bad nights sleep I would not return.
Great place to stop if you transfer in Munchen airport. Good restaurant in the lobby with good foor and and great beer. Stuff is friendly and ready to help
noise from railway passing by
Nice ground floor area, hotel stuff supporting all the needs quickly
Orange juice mixed with water last day of trip
I liked to German feel of the hotel and at least it had Free Wi-Fi in the room. The room was very basic, but clean.
My flight landed at 21h00 at the Munich Airport. I took a bus to this address which is on the Booking form of Booking.com: Bahnhofstrasse 6, Freising, but this was not the correct address of the hotel! The correct address is: Bahnofstrasse 6, Marzling. I had to take a taxi which costed me 13 euro to the hotel! I booked this hotel, because of the good rate and to do sight seeing in Freising! There are no other ways of transport during this time of the evening to Marzling. I was not warned by the owner and would have never booked with this hotel if I knew that it was in Marzling and not in Freising!! The owner just said it is a problem with Booking.com and he hopes I enjoy my stay. Lucky for me a got a lift back to the airport otherwise it would have costed me 25.5 Euro! The train and bus also do not depart regularly from Marzling during the day.
lovely location near airport, great rooms with restaurant, beer garden friendly staff, convenient parking
what's not to like this place is outstanding
Clean room/bathroom Staff - was polite Beer - tasty :) Ritter Sport (2 free chocolates) Breakfast - more than decent
Heating system didn't work at first Wooden bed (not very comfortable and it was making noises every time I turned) Transportation - shuttle not available Train station nearby - trains constantly passing by Distance: 13km from the airport (2x30eur taxi)
The room was clean and well maintained. It was close to the train station (5 to 6 minute walk). Good service. Close to airport and had a shuttle service available for a nominal fee.
Not to much going on in the small city though we did not get the city center. We were not sure where it was at in relation to the hotel.
Loved the cleanliness of the room, facilities, bathroom, shower, and just about everything else. There is a restaurant downstairs which I did not try, but it looked convenient. Everything about this hotel was great.
I was being charged 100 euros/night, but I assume that was because it was during Oktoberfest, which makes the 100 euros/night a great deal. Also, it was fairly easy to get to this hotel from Munich train station. A train to Freising, then a train to Marzling, and a 5 minute walk. However, getting back was trickier as there were not as many options. You will most likely need to take a train the opposite direction 10 minutes to Moosburg, and then that change will go straight to Munich. Overall, really not too bad.
Need more facilities like coffe maker also hardly I found connector to mobile charger only one available we were 2persons in separate rooms
Location is not good and facilities are less
The room was clean and comfortable, the neighborhood was nice and the staff friendly.
The shower handset was leaking. One day, the telephone rang at 6am, we didn't set any alarm. Something ran on the roof but I guess it was a bird or a cat.
The place itself is OK.
It was unpleasant to have a piece of human hair in my salad and no apology from the staff. An expensive taxi ride from MUC airport.
Good value. Nice and clean. Breakfast good.
Quaint and rustic, semi-comfortable
Location, the address is incorrect and our taxi took us to the wrong town. The hotel is in Marzling, not Freising.
What I liked it was the speedy check in at the hotel, and it was a quiet location where you can rest and sleep. Although we only stayed for one night while we waited for our flight. We left instructions for a cab to wait or to be called our surprise the cab was already waiting when we got downstairs. Way to go.. thank you.
The hotel since it was castle/antique like, no elevators or A/C. I guess since you are way in the countryside who needs a/c anyway. Did not try the breakfast due to time pressure for airport. but what ever was there looked very good.
Convenient location for airport for early morning flight
Beds are old
very limited bus or rail connection to the S-bahn station near by to Munich; burning heat shower water; poor quality shower gel; narrow bed
We did not like the staff - very slow, impolite, only after paying some tips, they ´´changed´´ their attitude.
We did not like the staff - very slow, impolite, only after paying some tips, they ´´changed´´ their attitude. (Maybe the lack of sex and private life problems) The owner has very good halb-dark weizen Fips weizen bier for 1,5 EUR/0,5L botlle. He is storing it behind the bar in fridge box. We strongly recommend only stop there and only buy weizen bier, but dont stay !!!
Proximity to the muc airport cleanliness food selection in the restaurant
-Room was extremely loud due to trains running all night and church bells sound every 15 minutes! -The taxi that the hotel arranged for us at 4:45am never arrived; do not stay there is you don't have a cell phone, which luckily we did! -We were on the 2nd floor, and there is no elevator
Location close to Munich Airport was perfect for us. Value was also exceptional. Easy access to central Munich. Meals at the restaurant were excellent with reasonable prices.
Train track opposite Gasthof tended to be noisy at times.
- Food; - Transport to the aiport; - Price;
Bavarian style, friendly staff, easy access to airport.
Mattress very worn-out, shower slightly dirty.
15 mins from Munich -Airport but put in the country. Nice restaurant. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was great. Only downside is it's next to the train tracks and we had a room on the front side. With the windows open the train was a little loud but not too bad. With the windows close it was fine.
