Charged 5 euro for filling up a thermo bottle with boiling water and did not issue a bill for it; the mistress friendliness depends on outfit od guests
The staff was very friendly and uncomplicated, and the food was great with a lot of homemade stuff for breakfast.
Large premises which is an old brewery, with good-sized rooms. Very clean, excellent food, situated in a quiet spot away from the motorway, very friendly staff. Ideal for a stop-off on route to destinations further south.

Everything. Our second stay at the Sternbrau as it is an ideal spot on route to anywhere south east from Calais, Bavaria, Austria, Italy, or east to Hungary etc. Excellent food and beer, friendly staff and comfortable rooms.
Really friendly staff who allowed us to park our motorbike in their personal yard area as the normal car park was in use for their annual beer festival. The breakfast was fantastic including home produced bread, jams, cooked meats and cake.
very well priced menu. Very friendly multi=lingual staff.
pillows on the beds are very thin and uncomfortable.
