Dating back to the 19th century, this family-run hotel is quietly located in Bad Rodach’s Gauerstadt district. Quiet rooms and a regional restaurant with spacious terrace are offered here. The rustic rooms at Landgasthof Wacker feature solid wooden furniture, satellite TV and a seating area with desk. The private bathrooms have a bath and shower. Bavarian cuisine and a daily buffet breakfast are served in the Wacker’s traditional restaurant. In warm weather, guests can dine outside on the terrace. Guests can hike and cycle in the surrounding Coburg Forests or the Haßberge Nature Park, 18 km away. Family-run hotel with a warm welcome and very friendly staff. Pretty village only 15 kms from Coburg. Excellent breakfast. The hotel has the only restaurant in the village so dinner must be taken there if one does not want to venture out. The food is good by German standards. Good value for money. The rooms are in a modern annex to the original building. We were first shown to a claustrophobic room which was on the inside of the building with a window looking out onto a corridor. Unfortunately most of the rooms are inside but a few with are available with an outside view (though not particularly appealing). When booking it is essential to request an outside room!

Czysto i schludnie, bardzo miła obsługa, znakomta domowa kuchnia, bardzo dobra cena, cicho i spokojnie z daleka od wiekomiejskiego gwaru. Idealne miejsce na zarówno noclegi biznesowe jak i rpdzinne.

Freundlichkeit des gesamten Personal gute preiswerte Küche gemütlicher Gastraum großer Stauraum in den Schränken Einrichtung der Zimmer war zu dunkel; Zimmer sind nur für Übernachtung aber nicht für tagelangen Aufendhalt geeignet.

Gutes Fruhstück. Leider keine Kreditkarten-Abrechnung. Angeblich Lesegerät defekt. Wir solten noch eine Preiserhöhung von 20,00€ bezahlen. Haben eine Rechnung bekommen.

Biergarten mit Überdachung und public viewing auf eine EM Spiels ohne deutsche beteiligung, aber erst nach Rückfrage. Es war Ruhetag (am Mittwoch). Zimmer und Gastraum - Charme der 70 er Jahre, Am Tag der Anreise Ruhetag. Kein Abendessen möglich - Fahrt 5 km bis zum nächsten Lokal erforderlich.

Preisleistungsverhältnis, dörfliche Gasthaus Athmosphäre, Frühstück. Natürliche Freundlichkeit der Gastwirtsfamilie. Die Inneneinrichtung der Zimmer ist sehr altmodisch "Gelsenkirchner Barock" und bedarf dringend einer Renovierung. Nachts ist es recht hellhörig und ein Collie-artiger-Hund, sehr lieb aber eben recht laut, bellt regelmäßig gefühlt einmal pro halbe Stunde, sodass es in den ohnehin durchgelegenen Betten (mit 1.90 Körpergröße zudem zu klein) recht schwer war, Schlaf zu finden. Von Coburg doch recht weit.

Sauberes Zimmer, die Umgebung lädt zu Ausfahrten in die Thermalbäder in Bad Colberg und Bad Rodach und in die Natur ein. Personal ist sehr freundlich, Für Hotelgäste ist am Ruhetag (mittwochs) keine Möglichkeit, abends ein Getränk zu bekommen, obwohl das Haus mit Personal besetzt ist. Hotel ist nur zum Schlafen und Abendessen zu empfehlen, wenn nicht gerade Ruhetag ist. Im Ort ist keine weitere Möglichkeit zu speisen oder Getränke zu bekommen.

Großzügiges und gut eingerichtetes Zimmer, sehr gutes Frühstück, sehr gutes Essen im Restaurant abends, sehr nette Gastgeber, Parkplatz vor der Tür, faire Preise -- sehr empfehlenswert!
