Very friendly and welcoming. Food excellent, especially in the asparagus season. Ideal base for visting Floriade, in Venlo, and Maastricht - chose to stay here as my understanding of the German langage is much, much, better than that of Dutch. The only mirror in thge room was in the bathroom.

simple but correct price. At arrival, reception told me that it is not hotel and indicated another one 150m far from Landhaus Effeld(or they said simpl hotel is over there, not here). So I went to another hotel. There was snow,,, but another hotel was not the hotel I reserved. Thanks to reception of another hotel (she called to Effeld and confirmed my reservation), I could return to the hotel Effeld, it was 1st one. So my impression was not so good from the begining. Also, wireless LAN for internet did not work well at the room. I needed to go to bar. Many people there with laptop, so I suppose it was not only for my room. I did not like bar there were smoking people... It maybe a good hotel with nice people to stay holiday, but not for simple night for business.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung, wenn auch nicht alle Angestellten. Wenn allerdings 30 Radfahrer im Hotel sind, sind alle etwas überfordert. Wer 4 Sterne für dieses Landgasthaus vergeben hat?

Het Hotel is rustig gelegen,verder weinig sfeer.bedden matig voor goede nachtrust kamer niet erg groot.beneden allerlei sfeeren beetje oudbollig??? verder mooie omgeving. weinig gezelligheid/sfeer

Zeer verzorgd hotel, boven het niveau van een dorpshotel. Informele sfeer door zeer vriendelijk personeel. Rustige ligging in dorpse bebouwing. Fietsvriendelijk. Prima keuken, met service op terras. Uitstekend ontbijt. Goed verzorgd natuurbad op enkele minuten fietsafstand. Misschien een beetje saai dorp, maar de rust daarvan heeft ook z'n voordelen.

Freundliche Bedienung .Sehr gutes Frühstück. Über das Internet habe ich gebucht und alles klappte vorzüglich. Leider habe ich die erste Nacht sehr gefroren,da die Heizung abgestellt war.In der Nacht war es draußen sehr kalt und so wurde das Zimmer nicht mehr warm.Leider war auch keine Decke im Schrank. Die 2. Nacht war es dann aber warm.

Mooie kamer, rustig gelegen. Goede locatie om te fietsen. Heerlijke asperges gegeten in Landhaus Effeld. Vriendelijk personeel. Het bed is wat te kort, te zacht en te laag

Zeer vriendelijk personeel, heerlijk eten en mooie ligging nabij Meinweg, ander natuurpark, een mooi meer en andere dorpjes en bezienswaardigheden. Nabij andere activiteiten mogelijk; kinderspeeltuin, huifkartochten E.D. In Effeld zelf is er niks behalve 3 hotels en een kapper. In het hotel heb je wel een heerlijke sauna, bubbelbad en solarium. Ruime kamer maar met wat mankementen. Lamp viel uit elkaar, er hing voor één raam een te klein gordijn, deuren van kasten konden niet open omdat er een balk voor zat, badkamer had een zeer koude vloer en stonk wat(hopelijk tijdelijk). Maar dit mocht de pret verder niet drukken, want de rest maakte het weer goed.

Goed hotel met perfect schone comfortabele kamers. Vriendelijk personeel en goede service. Uitstekend restaurant aan te bevelen specialiteit van het huis, ook het ontbijt was goed verzorgd.
