Easy to reach but lovely situation in small country village Exceptional service and helpfulness - hostess sat beside us to translate menu; young chef helped with wi-fi connection Very comfortable clean and affordable

The very friendly owners and their staff who made us feel very welcome. We had a very nice and reasonably priced dinner on the night of our arrival and enjoyed a very good continental breakfast. The location was ideal for our travel from Frankfurt to Vienna. It was difficult to find the hotel even though it is close to the Autobahn from Nuremberg to Vienna. Unfortunately the factory fitted GPS in our car did not recognise Steinach.

We stayed here for an overnight stop on our way south and the hotel was beautifully situated for just that ( right on the a3!) a luxuriuos hotel , sumptiuos decor ( bit worried with young children) and a lovely family room which comprised of a double room, bathroom and an addtional attached double bedroom. Bathroom was lovely except for the total glass shower surround which our 18 month old crashed straight into having not seen it. Unfortunately we could not afford to eat in the hotel ( mains were over 20 euros!) but made the easy journey into Bruge itself to find somewhere . We did have breakfast though which was good and free for the two younger children but cost my husband, myself and our 16 year old around 45 euros! Too expensive!! So perfectly situated hotel, beautiful decor, spoitlessly clean but just a little too expensive for us.

This place rocks! The owners are really friendly and lovely and speak good English which was good as my German is rubbish. Food for dinner and breakfast was of an exceptional standard. My single room was an okay size but nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. Would stay there again without hesitation. GPS is handy for finding the place, especially at the date this is written as there are road closures in the surrounding area.

vorzügliche Küche, sehr zu empfehlen Entgegenkommen bei vorzeitiger Abreise am Montag abend, obwohl noch eine Nacht gebucht, hätte die Hotelgaststätte nicht Ruhetag gehabt, wären wir sicher noch geblieben und hätten gerne noch einmal sehr schmackhaft zu Abend gegessen

Het hotel is inderdaad een echt ''landhaus'', het ligt in een klein dorpje, vlak bij de snelweg, dus ideaal voor de doorreis. De kamer was heel erg netjes en ruim, voorzien van een prima badkamer. Het bijbehorende restaurant is een klasse apart, wat een geweldige maaltijden worden daar geserveerd. Het was heerlijk weer, dus hadden we de mogelijkheid om buiten in de biergarten te kunnen dineren, echt ''wunderbar''. Als ik ga muggenziften vind ik een piepklein minpuntje: Ik had geen leeslampje naast het bed.

Mooi en rustig hotel/omgeving. Zeer leuk oud landhuis met antieke details. Zeer leuk en goed restaurant voor een zeer betaalbare prijs. Die ene mug op de kamer, maar die heb ik afgemaakt.

Das Landhaus Krone ist ein super liebevoll geführtes kleines Hotel in Familienbesitz. In idyllischer Umgebung nicht weit von Regensburg entfernt. Preis- Leistung ist hier absolut in Ordnung. Wir waren zwar auf einer Hochzeit in der Umgebung, würden es aber auch jederzeit als Hotel für eine Städtereise nach Regensburg empfehlen. Unsere Wünsche wurden alle vollstens erfüllt und wer ein Auge für Details hat... setzt sich einfach in den wunderschönen Biergarten oder die "Stuben" und genießt ein Bier, ein Glas Wein oder ein leckeres Essen. Wir kommen wieder!

Sehr schöner historischer niederbayerischer Landgasthof mit "Flair" und geräumigem Biergarten hinter dem Haus, rascher Service und gutes Essen. Gerade erst komplett renoviert! Ausgesprochen freundliche Bedienungen. Tv nicht unproblematisch zu bedienen, warum auch immer (bei nur einer übernachtung also nicht "lösbar"...).

It is a musician-friendly establishment (it says so on the door) and folk musicians are encouraged! Extremely comfortable room with a bed you don't want to leave. Lovely shower room (though I thought someone had left the bathmat crumpled on the floor - it took a moment to realize that it was arranged as a stylized crown!). Pleasant bar area (complete with accordion). Beautifully presented buffet breakfast (though the beauty masked a slight lack of choice - 10/10 for aesthetics; 7/10 for actual food) Rather a lack of parking for the size of the place (though the lane by the war memorial is near and seems safe). Nothing to do with the bed and breakfast aspect, but dinner was slightly disappointing (though very artistic, etc.) and everything took such a long time to arrive - even the bill (30 minutes)! I must assume that they were unusually busy in the kitchen, since it is bound to eat into their profits if they offer a complementary digestif to everyone who has to wait...

wij vonden landhaus krone een uitstekend hotel,heel vriendelijke eigenaars,heel vriendelijk personeel,een uitstekende keuken, kamer zeer goed verzorgd,een mooie locatie. wij reizen verschillende keren per jaar naar hongarije en zijn bij booking.com al altijd in uitstekende hotels geweest. zeker een aanrader voor onze vriedenkring.
