This family hotel and restaurant, recommended in Marco Polo travel guide and Der Feinschmecker, has balconies with beautiful views of the lush gardens and of the longest castle in the world.

Rates include free wireless internet, free breakfast buffet and free parking. The warm, tavern atmosphere of the restaurant extends out to the terrace and beer garden where you can sit and enjoy the view during lunch or on warm evenings.

The staff is more than happy to help with organizing your excursions and activities. You can walk through the hills and valleys, take a long bike ride or drive a little further and visit Marktl, the birthplace of Pope Benedict XVI. Let the staff prepare a picnic lunch for your trip.

Kirill Young couple MOSCOW, Russia August 17, 2011	A great summer garden and a fantastic view of the Burg (the local medieval castle). Balconies in rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room and bathroom equipment is pretty old. If you prefer walking instead of taking a taxi, the hotel is a bit too distant from all the main focal points of the town: the train station, the castle and the historical centre will all require you to walk 25-30 minutes by foot (incl. quite steep uphill on the way back). 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful, did you?	7.5

Da keine Hauptsaison war, war das Hotel chronisch unterbesetzt an Personal. Der alte Röhrenfernseher funktionierte nur sporadisch, die Heizung und das Warmwasser funktionierten leider auch nicht immer. Man hätte wenigstens einen kleinen Rabatt geben können nach dem die versprochenen Leistungen eigentlich nicht vorhanden waren. Preis-Leistung ehrlich gesagt nicht gerechtfertigt.
