I had no complaints about the hotel. Unfortunately I had no opportunity to try the restaurant for a main meal, but the menu seems to be classic countryside German. Breakfast was plentiful and varied including fruit, cereals, fresh bread, cheese, sausage and hard-boiled egg. The coffee was particularly good.
The hotel is situated very close to the centre of Selters. Parking in the town is rather limited, but the Adler has its own small car park for residents. The hotel is a classic family-run German provincial establishment with traditional decor, large rooms and is kept extremely clean. The management and staff are very welcoming, warm, friendly and helpful.
