Extremelly friendly personnel, always helpful. I forgot a bag in the taxi to the airport and the hotel retrieved it and sent it to my home address. Awsome!

The hotel is great, very original architecture, clean, tidy and had everything that we needed. Free parking and a very good option if you want to be close to Dusseldorf during and event (such as K).

There is only one restaurant close by and it is pretty expensive. To do/see anything interesting you have to go to Dusseldorf. Wi-fi was problematic.

Caution: Foreigners not welcomed here! This hotel was obviously biased towards a local Germanic guest. All seemed fine until the morning of my checkout when after breakfast I tried to return to my room only to discover that I'd been locked out. Checking my watch it was only 10:30 am, so I stopped by the reception desk to inform the owner that my magnetic card wasn't working. Imagine my chagrin when the first words out of her mouth after taking my room card was to say, "Ah yes, Mr. Guest, that will be 212.34 euros please." What a brash indignation this was. On the average year I stay in hotels in 8 countries for normally around 80 days. I've been to 25 countries and never have my bags been held hostage until I'd payed my tab before I was allowed back in my room.

We discover a Perfect hotel in Dusseldorf. It is only 15 km from the Old Center in Dusseldorf. There is a lake near the hotel. We ride bicycle around the lake every day. Breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly. Rooms are new and comfortable. Parking is Free.
