This family-run country hotel is located in the attractive Upland area of the Sauerland region. Landhotel Henkenhof features ski-storage as well as an indoor swimming pool, sauna and a solarium. We were 2 moms with 4 kids (ages 8-10) so the hotel was perfect for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I expected it to be in Willingen, but that was our mistake. However, it was only a 5 minute drive to the town and ski slopes.

Ruime kamers, schoon, gemoedelijk. In de nacht voor vertrek had het flink gesneeuwd. Onze auto stond naast het hotel. Door de sneeuwval was de uitrit die ophoog liep, erg glad. Wegrijden kon niet op eigen kracht. Met behulp van een vriendelijke en behulpzame nederlands echtpaar, uiteindelijk toch "boven" gekomen. Dus een paar flinke handen strooizout, had wellicht voor ons en andere gebruikers erg handig geweest.

Het eten was geweldig. Kamers heel erg groot. Zwembad en sauna prima. Personeel vond ik opvallend attent en alert. Ook zeeeer goed met kinderen! Niks

Ein gutes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal, sehr Kinderfreundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumlich und sauber! Gute Lage zu den Wintersportgebieten. Alles in allem sehr angenehm. Wir kommen wieder!!!

Ein sehr sauberes U. freundliches Hotel!Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut. Hervorzuheben die Freundlichkeit des Personals!Uns hat das Wochen- ende dort sehr gut gefallen U. kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Het personeel is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamers zijn ruim. Ruim ontbijtbuffet. Het hotel is erg gedateerd. Maken reclame met a la carte restaurant,maar we konden alleen mee eten met de gasten die half pension haddden. Badkamers erg klein en gedateerd. Krakende vloeren op meerdere kamers

Freundlichkeit vom Personal, geräumiges Zimmer mit Balkon, bequeme Betten, das Frühstücksbuffet, Urlaub mit Kind sehr gut möglich: Spielraum, Schwimmbad und Pool-Billiard, Parkplätze kostenfrei Essensgeruch im Flur, da Küche sehr zentral gelegen; das Bad hätte sauberer sein können

Lage Sehr freundliches Personal Schwimmbad angenehm temperiert Preisleistung stimmt nicht. Von der Atmosphäre eher eine Jugendherberge. Besonders der Frühstücksraum wirkt wie eine Mensa/Speisesaal. Sehr viele kleine und kleinste Gäste. Das Hotel hat einen Altbau und Neubau- beides zum selben Preis. Im Altbau sind die Zimmer durch dünne Türen miteinander verbunden, so dass es einem vorkommt als schlafen fremde Personen mit im Zimmer. Die Zimmer sind damit sehr hellhörig und länger als 7 Uhr 30 ist ein Schlaf nicht möglich. Es handelt sich in der Tat um ein sehr "familienfreundliches Hotel"- für jemanden der Wellness und Erholung sucht nicht zu empfehlen.
