This rustic, 3-star country hotel is just south of Isny im Allgäu, on the border of Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. It offers free Wi-Fi via hotspot and a free breakfast buffet each morning. At the Landhotel zur Grenze, all rooms have king beds. The rooms are carpeted and the furniture is finished with pretty fabrics. Each morning, a large breakfast buffet is prepared at the Landhotel zur Grenze. This is included in the price of the room. In the evening, the traditional, cottage-style restaurant at the Zur Grenze serves a variety of seasonal dishes made with fresh ingredients. The restaurant is closed on Mondays. Location of the hotel very beautiful and peaceful. Typical alpine hotel. Unfortunately restaurant not opened for dinner on Monday however our host made reservation at a nearby restaurant which did not dissapoint. Typical German breakfast with a good selection of bread and cheese. The host very helpful helped getting snow of our car. Internet not working during our stay.

Attractive, quiet location. Very pretty hotel which looks old (alpine chalet style) but is actually quite new so everything's smart and clean. Very attentive staff, good food and drink. Wish I'd tried the cream cakes I saw people having in the afternoon - they looked excellent. Good size room with balcony which had loungers and a nice view. Good walking/cylcling round about (lots of cycle paths). Shame they don't have a pool, there would be plenty of room for one in the grounds.

Günstige verkehrstechnische Lage; trotzdem auf dem Land Besser kann man das Allgäu nicht erleben und erkunden, erstklassiger Ausgangspunkt für Rundfahrten, Wanderungen und Städtebesichtigungen Typische Allgäuer Speisen haben auf der Speisekarte gefehlt z.B Allgäuer Spatzen, Gourmet Essen hervorragend, aber nicht für jeden Tag,

- Das Essen war ein Traum, sehr gute Küche, auch der Kaffee zum Frühstück genau richtig für Morgenmuffel, Frisches Brot und Semmeln, Ei alles was das Herz begert. Sehr freundliche Chefin, die sich sogar um die Milch für das Kleinkind gekümmert hat. Essen für Kind sehr nett angerichtet. Räume mit Holz verkleidet ist Geschmackssache, es gibt sonst nichts zu bemängeln

Die sehr freundliche Rezeption die mit Rat& Tat und Ideen zur Verfügung stand. Das Essen war sensationell. Das Frühstück hatte für jeden Leckereien die eine super Grundlage für lange Wanderungen waren. Das Abendessen war außergewöhnlich&hervoragend!

Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch die Eigentümer, die auch immer sehr hilfsbereit waren. Schönes grosses Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick ins Grüne, sehr ruhige Lage. Sauberes, grosses Badezimmer mit Wanne und Duschwand. Kostenfreie Parkplätze rund um das Haus. Sehr gemütliches Ambiente, kleines aber sehr feines Frühstückbuffet. Unser Bett war sehr kurz und knarrte entsetzlich, der Schlaf war daher nicht der allerbeste.WLAN ist kostenpflichtig. Ein kleiner Kühlschrank auf den Zimmern wäre toll

Me ha gustado el recibimiento y la atencion. Tambien el enclave y el paisaje asi como el hotel en si mismo No me han gustado los precios de los postres y el extraordinario ruido que hace el extractor del baño.

Haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Hotel sehr genossen. Einmaliger Service und Gastfreundschaft ( vielen Dank, Frau Rainer und Team- sie schaffen es, aus einem Aufenthalt etwas ganz besonderes zu machen ). Und die Küche.....10 Sterne!! Werden auf alle Fälle wieder kommen!!
