This romantic 4-star hotel enjoys a quiet location outside the village of Hermsdorf in Saxony, close to the Czech border. It features a traditional lounge and a modern sauna area. The Landhotel Altes Zollhaus is a historic customs house built in 1658. All rooms and suites are decorated in a rustic style. A buffet breakfast is available each morning at the Landhotel Altes Zollhaus. The historic restaurant serves regional Saxon specialities and international dishes. The Zollhaus Hermsdorf has a cafe with sun terrace. A large selection of beers and wines are available in the bar. For an extra fee, guests can use the Landhotel's sauna area. The best hotel that I stayed in.Great value for the money. German speaking personal but very open to understand english.If they learn more english maybe they will get more guests.I Hope that they will choose to do that.

das Gewölberestaurant war wirklich sehr schön. das Zimmer war bei Temperaturen unter 10 grad mimus nicht warm zu kriegen, zu kleiner TV, Sender waren zum großteil gestört,

Wir haben im Alten Zollhaus bereits einige Winter-Kurzurlaube mit vollster Zufriedenheit verbracht. Diesmal erschienen uns die Mitarbeiter V.A. Rezeption völlig überfordert, uninformiert und interessenlos. Wir mußten wegen Frostschaden nach einer Nacht abreisen, ohne Vorschläge zur Lösung, Bedauern O.ä. zu hören.

Die direkt am Haus beginnende Langlaufloipe war spitze. Ein Skibus hält direkt vor dem Hotel, so das man gut aufs Auto verzichten kann. Der Gewölbekeller ist wunderschön. Die Saunalandschaft ist gut gelungen; nur zu teuer. Das Zimmer war sauber und da der Schornstein durch das Zimmer verlief immer sehr gut geheizt. Zu bemängeln ist ein alter Fernseher mit 37cm Bildschirm und notdürftig mit tesa-Klebeband geflickter Fernbedienung im Zimmer, die trotz Meldung an der Rezeption nicht getauscht wurde. In der booking.com Werbeanzeige war die Rede von 1 Gratis Flasche Wasser bei Anreise. Diese wurde erst gewährt nach Diskussion an der Rezeption unter Vorweisung der Internetseite auf dem eigenen Laptop. Am Tag der Abreise wollte man die Flasche doch wieder berechnen. Die Benutzungsgebühr vom 10,-€ pro Person und Tag für die Saunalandschaft plus 2,-€ pro Bademantel ist ganz schön heftig. Beim Essen am letzten Abend wählten wir das 3-Gänge-Menü.Das Personal servierte sehr lustlos und hastig und feuerte uns regelrecht einen Gang nach dem Anderen hin, so das uns jeglicher Genuss verloren ging.

Die Saunalandschaft ist nach einer Skitour ein Muss. Eine wundervolle Oase der Entspannung. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr zuvorkommend und ausgesprochen freundlich. Aus unserer Sicht ist das Hotel für einen Kurztripp in das Erzgebirge geeignet, um für einige Stunden/ Tage dem Alltagsstress zu entfliehen. Der Frühstücksraum lädt nicht unbedingt zum verweilen ein. Es wäre wünschenswert, wenn das Frühstück am Wochenende bis 11:00 Uhr eingenommen werden kann.

Kamers waren ruim en goed ingericht. Er worden honden toegelaten in dit hotel en dat was op onze kamer duidelijk te ruiken. Het diner moesten we (in verband met een of andere festiviteit gebruiken in het cafe. Het diner was kwalitatief goed, werd echter verstoord door het geblaf van honden die bij andere gasten tijdens het diner onder de tafels lagen

Freundliches Personal, guter Service, ganz tolle Quarkkeulchen, schöner Saunabereich. Das Fernsehgerät war doch schon recht betagt und funktionierte nicht immer fehlerfrei. War für uns allerdings nicht wichtig.
