The room was fine, the bed comfortable, bathroom small but OK too. Location very good. Check in staff was very good, particularly the young lady who checked us in. She was very friendly.

The breakfast room is too dark, some bright and light paint is needed on the walls. We found the staff at the breakfast room to be unfriendly. Suggestion : please instruct them to wish the guests a good morning when they come in. Hallways leading to the rooms need to be aired out.n

Hotel threatening to charge 100 euros\day if we smoked. This was unnecessary and offensive in my opinion.

Ideal for visiting Berlin clean simple rooms friendly staff.

History was really interesting. train link from airport.underground system and cost.

a little bit too far to walk to main tourist attractions. not recommended for people who are old or infirmed.

Rooms at first floor are noisy: sleeping there is almost like sleeping in the reception.

The breakfastoffer was varied and tasteful.

The location It was just around 5 minutes walk to U-bahn station Spittelmarkt and several buses. 10 minutes walk out to Friedrichstrasse and Checkpoint Charlie. The breakfast was okay but no fibres and not even a whole grain dark bread, that germans usaually eat. Weak coffe but I always have instant esspresso in my bag when I'm staying in a hotel (if not in Italy or France).

The staff and the service! The room The cleaning The staff (exept for the lady and one of the young girls) were horrible and very inpolite. They didn't even look up or said good morning. When I said guten morgen they could mumble something without looking up. When we checked out the girl didn't even said thank you or welcome back. Nothing, it just seemed like she was disturbed. If you want to split your cost of the room you have to pay cash, because they would only take one payment on one creditcard, on the whole amount. Strange and absolutley not a service minded hotel. The room was dull, old and no pictures at all on the walls. Not even a shower curtain in the bathroom. We had a 4-bed (family) room with a couch, table and a chair. The couch was broken so we couldn't sit normally. No lamps för the two single beds. Very poor room. The cleaning was very poor, hair was on the floor in the bathroom from we got there until we left. They didn't even took the dirty dishes out. We took a cup of coffe from breakfast, to our room, and there it was the rest of our stay. The carpet felt very dirty, it was a full floor covering one and it was in a terrible condition. Not good enough for the price and not a 3-star hotel. I will not stay there again.

The location was good. The two young staff members were awesome. Young lady at night who called me by my name after traveling all day long. I would hail a taxi or shuttle, which they can arrange for you for 15.00 euros.to get to and from the Train Station. Much easier than taking the subway. And, a lot less stressful of travelers. They can easily pull right up to the front of the hotel. It was clean and nice enough.

The older gentleman and the older blonde woman at the front desk ignored me. I stood there and they looked at my face and walked away without asking what I was standing there for. I even said, "excuse me". She gave a little shoulder shrug and walked away. Not sure why. I eventually left and came back with my male friend who the man talked to. Not sure what to think about that. Rooms were supposed to be non-smoking but with the window cracked we could smell smoke most of the time. That was not so good.

Hotel has a great location and all city attraction is close.u station is only 5 minutes connects the hotel to the several touristic places.breakfast was so so and make you ready for the day with the varied selections.room service and cleaning was also good.hotel staff was helpful.overall we highly recommend this hotel

Our room was at the fourth floor which was good.there are other business offices at the middle floors .so people at the fifth floor have to walk through steps to the fifth floor.

Rickety lift (which never let us down).

Good location for city centre. Quiet and clean. Lovely bathroom and shower which was cleaned daily. Lots of choice from breakfast buffet.

The location is near the city center. Breakfast is OK.

The arrival day we lost almost 2 hours looking for the hotel as the description how to reach the hotel in the website are totally wrong, the hotel website should be updated. During the reservation( 2 month before our stay ) I asked for the quiet room, but we were given the room on the 1st floor, near the reception and near the corridor door and street view, so it was extremely noisy.

This was my first trip tarvelling alone . I liked the location near to some attractions , underground train etc . it was quiet and relaxing lovely breakfast staff very helpful with directions etc

It was absolutely greta for me for 2 days
