I just loved this hotel - the staff are sensational - they really looked after me - after I had some temporary issues with my Visa card not being accepted in Europe (no thank you Visa). The manager Neil and his chef are lovely, friendly, helpful people, and the meals were simple but delicious. This hotel is set in one of the prettiest parts of the world, the rooms are huge, well designed with lovely big windows that opened to a view of Altenberge hotel over the fields (just lovely). Also location was excellent - the hotel literally opens onto the station platform - very convenient. Amenities including wifi and laundry were excellent - and I am trying to wrangle some way of bringing my husband and son here for a holiday.

Sehr schön umgebautes ehemaliges Bahnhofsgebäude. Sehr gute Anbindung nach Münster (Westf.): Alle 30 Minuten fährt ein Zug in 17 Minuten nach Münster. Die Züge stören überhaupt nicht. Das Essen im zugehörigen Restaurant ist sensationell, vor allem die vegetarischen Tapas.

Neues Hotel, grosses Zimmer, schönes Bad Zimmerservice lässt zu Wünschen übrig; oberflächliche Reinigung, Badetücher für zwei Personen mussten an der Reception abgeholt werden. Keine Trinkgläser im Zimmer und Bad. Trinkgläser wurden nicht gereinigt. Während drei Tagen wurde kein Papierkorb und nicht einmal das Abfallbehältnis im Badezimmer geleert.

Der äußere Eindruck de Hotels. Restaurant geschlossen, Zimmer lieblos, die Sauberkeit war nicht in Ordnung, zimmer wurde in den drei Tagen nur 1mal gemacht (Betten, frische Handtücher)...

Die Innenarchitektur und die Bilder im Treppenhaus sind sehr schön. Nüchtern und gradlinig. Die Bahnlinie hinter diesem ehemaligen Bahnhof hört man nicht. GemeinscHaftsbalkone. Man hört die Küchenmaschinen im Restaurant. Bei unserem Besuch war der Koch auch der Rezeptionist und konnte über das Hotel und seine Leistungen wenig sagen.
