This elegant new hotel in central Hamburg is set next to the famous St Michaelis church and the bustling harbour, only 800 metres from underground and S-Bahn (city rail) stations.

Close to the congress and exhibition centres, Jungfernstieg, and many famous attractions such as the Reeperbahn, the Lindner Hotel provides an ideal base in Hamburg.

The modern, tastefully furnished rooms of the Lindner Hotel Am Michel, which only opened in March 2008, boast a generous size of 26 m² and state-of-the-art facilities.

An extensive buffet breakfast is available in the restaurant every morning, while the evening menu consists of delicious regional and international dishes. Guests can take full advantage of the WellFit-Centre on the 7th floor.

Food & beverage

Named after the architect who designed Hamburg’s Michel church, the Restaurant Sonnin serves classic buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as international specialities. Watch the kitchen team at work in the show kitchen, which is set in the restaurant’s buffet area.

The cosy Hamburger Stube spoils hotel guests and locals with imaginatively composed dishes from Hamburg and northern Germany. Look forward to a tasty combination of tradition and innovation.

Set between the hotel lobby and Restaurant Sonnin, the Bar Lacoon is a popular meeting place. Enjoy classic drinks and cocktails as well as a daily selection of snacks and light meals.

From 12:00 until 23.00, you can order a colourful range of snacks and light meals via the hotel room service.

The hotel is brand new and beautifully decorated. We had a wonderful shower instead of the often very high and slippery European bathtub. I would have liked to have taken the shower home.

While convenient to the tourist buses, it was quite far from any metro stop. Hamburg must have some of the worst public transportation in the world. We only saw two buses operating on the weekend. We really had to take taxis to get anywhere. A hotel near the central station would be more convenient to the central metro line, but we truly enjoyed the comfort of this lovely hotel.

Clean, modern and stylish.

The shower unit is somewhat exposed to the rest of the twin room making us prudish brits need to stare out of the window or pay close attention to a book whilst the other showered

Posizione centrale, molto tranquillo, personale molto cortese, camera grande e confortevole.

La connessione internet WIFI era a pagamento anzichè gratuita come scritto sulla prenotazione. Ho protestato e non me l'hanno fatta pagare.

Das Hotel lag sehr zentral, St. Pauli zehn Minuten zu Fuß, Michel 5 Minuten, Speicherstadt/Landungsbrücken 10 bis 15 Minuten.

Die Hotelzimmer waren ruhig. Angenehme Klimaanlage. Nette Auswahl an Kaffee und Tee zum Selbstzubereiten auf dem Zimmer. Alles sehr neu und sauber, einschließlich dem offenen Badbereich.

Der Frühstückspreis ist zu teuer.
