Charming and pleasant owner. The suite we stayed in had high ceilings, a hugh bathtub and unique interior. The place was both personal and welcoming (and VERY clean). Linnen is located in one of the most vibrant areas of Berlin (Prenzlauer Berg), with lots of options (restaurants, shops, cafes and bars) and beautiful parks. Perfect experience. I would definitely recommend this place.
Great interior design - something a little bit different - very good value for money, spacious rooms, generally a wonderful atmosphere. Excellent access to U-bahn; lovely coffee shop downstairs that makes the best coffee in Berlin (really).
Nothing at all!
The staff. Antonio and the other guys were very helpful and happy. The bed was uber soft and cozy. A very hip and modern place to stay for cool katze.
I only wish a breakfast was included in the stay like at other gasthauses. The cafe downstairs was open early and you can purchase coffee, fruit, and pastries. Eggs and cheeses and cold meats would be pleasant.
Great team and cafe. Really enjoyed our stay and have recommended to others since.
Excellent location and facilities. Very secure with everything we needed.
Would have liked a TV and maybe an electric toaster. Light over table was not working.
Convenient to public transportation. Clean & modern.
Unresponsive staff. I stayed in Park II which is an "offsite" location. I had questions and tried to contact them at the number provided, but only got voice mail and never a call back. The company holding the keys knew little to nothing about the apartment and they could not get anyone to call them back either.
very friendly and accommodating staff, great location, beautiful rooms, cafe is fantastic
wifi was a little touchy but still useable (in spots).
Let´s say you have some dear friend living in Berlin. Let´s call them Antonio (Toni) and Bodo. Let´s say they have invited you to their newly renovated home in Prentzlauer Berg, to stay for a couple of nights. Let´s say they have an exquisite taste for interior decoration and design, mixing old with new in a perfect balance. Let´s say they give you the best possible tip about where to go, where to eat and what you should avoid. Let´s say there is a third friend, let´s call him Benedict, who is a master of personal caretaking. He arranges the most delicious breakfasts for both the eye and taste. Ask him for a sandwich, a glass of good vine, a nice cup of tea, coffee … He delivers every time, with a smile and a personal touch. We stayed at Hotel Linnen at Eberswalderstrasse from the 6:th to the 9:th of May 2014, on our first visit to Berlin, and had an amazing experience. The best possible service with a perfect personal touch in an awesome environment. We say: Hotel Linnen was one of our best travel experience ever (and we have been traveling a lot). Thank´s Toni, Bodo and Benedict
High ceilings and attention to detail. The room had a good table to work and nice couch to nap. Tall windows in a solid neighborhood.
Lovely ambiance, very old beautiful building, great (new) bathroom. Lovely spacious room. Obviously a lot of care has been taken over the redecoration. We only stayed one night but would def consider it for a longer stay. Only a short walk from the u-bahn
The area looks up and coming but is typical Berlin... a little bit rough round the edges in terms of presentation (a lot of graffiti) but we felt perfectly safe late at night. We also found it hard to find... so go straight to the Cafe next door if open, as that is the entrance.
Great apartments, wonderful staff and facilities plus a superb cafe for breakfast and lunch. Loved it!
Aparthotel Linnen is great home-like B&B hotel in Berlin-I'll return back to the hotel next time I travel to Berlin for sure.
Nothing to say.
Extremely friendly staff, went with us to a car mechanic to translate, they gave us some nice tips to visit etc. Probably the best part of the hotel. One of the best examples of price/quality. The breakfast is great but so are half of the breakfast options in the neighbourhood. Room and bathroom are verry spacious and clean. Rooms are bigger than they appear on the pictures, which is a first for me. Location is great, just around the corner of the subway and bus station. Plenty of nice small shops and cafe's in the immediate vicinity. One of the best hotels I have stayed in (mainly becaus of the staff).
Towels aren't replaced daily. No elevator for who needs it, although they help you with your luggage.
Rustic decor, great cafe downstairs and location close to metro and tram stations
The location: near the U-Bahn The room: big and confortable The staff: friendly and helpfull
Original furniture and handy for metro so easy to get around.
No tea and coffee making facilities
B&B is near the subway (at the end of the street), so very handy. Also very close to nice stores, boutiques, cafe's and restaurants in Prenzlauer Berg. Style and atmosphere of the hotel was nice and homey, staff made you feel really welcome. Very good coffee and breakfast!
Room was at the street side and altough there was double glass, the tram and ambulances/police cars (there's a fire station in the next street) could be heard. It didn't really bother me, but it does maybe for people who sleep light. Room wasn't cleaned in 3 days, but I guess this has to do with the hotel trying to be as eco-friendly as possible.
Aparthotel Linnen was like no other hotel we've ever stayed - it truly felt like home. The location was great, it was convenient to major tourist attractions but off the beaten path so you really get a sense of life in Berlin. We had great recommendations from the staff on where to eat and what might be good to see and do during our stay. Our room was enormous, the location was quiet and convenient, and the coffee was incredible!
Stylish, modern, comfortable. Location fantastic.Good value for money. We were able to pick up key at 11.30 at night which was really appreciated. Would recommend to friends.
The location of the place was really great and close to everything. The apartment we stayed in was really great with lots of light. The owners were really nice and helpful and responded quickly to all of our queries.
everything was great, we will definatly come back and will reccomend this accomadation to our friends. We stayed in park I, the place is located in cosy area, clean, well-equipment and has a wonderful view to the garden
I only stayed here one day and fell in love with the place. Will definitely return again. The owners recommended a wonderful French Bistro down the street for my only meal in town and since I was leaving to early for breakfast they put together a bag with fruit and a scone to take with me on the plane. The hotel had a cafe and was part hotel part apartment building as mentioned in the name. The room was beautiful, the bed, the most comfortable one on my 2 week holiday, was on a platform of solid wood and gave the appearance of a sauna and you could smell the wood. The bathroom was large with a great shower.
I liked everything but the room might be small for 2 people
Absolutely amazing design and wonderful staff! Great cafe downstairs.
- position in a very nice and lively area, lots of restaurants and shops - very nice decoration of the hotel
- no cleaning in the rooms : bathroms get dirty, bins are full... - no breakfast before 9 o'clock - staff not always helpful and nice
We wanted to stay in Prenzlauer Berg and therefore the situation of this apartment was perfect! We had the Cuba-flat and it was very nice, spacious and clean. The owners are very friendly and helpful. There are several nice restaurants in the same street and you also find the nice Kollwiz-platz 10 min away. The underground 2 min away with a direct line to the city center. Nice and cheap breakfast downstairs in the cafe.
The beds were a bit hard, and the stairwell was very scuffed. From Underground Eberswalderstr to Kürfurstendamm it takes about 40 minutes.
