Hotel Lippischer Hof  

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely beautiful. Huge variety to choose from. Hotel is very cute and quirky quite compact but a great use of space.

The car park was awful lack if spaces was awful. It ment we had to leave the car up where we lived and paid for a taxi back and forth which was an inconvenience. It wasn't ideal for our situation of families in the army we stay in hotels before we leave Germany after moving out if our houses. So we had a lot of baggage with us as its not a normal stay. Rooms need updating can see that the bathrooms have and bar/ restaurant. I enjoyed my stay but I wouldn't recommend to military families. I'd definitely come back just for a city break without a car

The staff is most helpful and friendly. Wifi is free and helpful to the traveller.

It is hard to be in the hotel on Sunday and Monday's as few services are available, especially food. Breakfast is served daily, though

There was nothing that we didn't like about the hotel

I've stayed at hotels with higher user rating.But perhaps it was the relatives of the owner. This hotel on the other hand deserves a higher rating. I loved the clean and large room and the message chair. Really good location, in the town centre and a short walk from the train station. The only thing I noticed that the carpet in the room looks little used, but I really dont care about this kind of stuff. I know some peple do. The main thing was everything else looked new and really clean.

The hotel was ideally positioned for the town centre. The breakfast was of a good standard.

We remember the hotel from 30 years ago. The hotel has been developed at some point nearly all of its character has been lost. The bedrooms are now little boxes and characterless. There is the most horrible carpet throughout the hotel which extends into the bedrooms. We found the staff very mixed in thier welcome. There is language barrier however we did feel very unwelcome by 50% of the staff. The hotel is a small reflection of its former self. It is now a hotel to stay over for business. We would not recommend it for a holiday stay.

My wife grew up in detmold and during our sentimental journey we could not have been accommodated better and attended to than at this Hotel. WIFI was very important and available free at LIPPISCHER HOF.

Die Mitarbeiter sind alle ausnehmend freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich habe eine Busverbindung gesucht und man ist direkt mit mir auf die Straße gegangen und hat den richtigen Bus gesucht. Super!!

Muy bien situado junto al centro de Detmold. Parking gratuito. Wifi gratis. Personal amable y atento. No hablan español, pero si Inglés. Desayuno buffet correcto. Edificio estilo victoriano, recién renovado. Muy limpio y confortable. Camas muy cómodas

Wir haben ein wunderbares Wochenende mit sehr gutem Essen und hervorragenden Weinen + etc verlebt. Wir können wirklich wärmstens das Bistro und sein Service empfehlen!!! Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und lecker.

Wir lieben nichts mehr als eine durchgehende Matratze. Auch wenn die Qualität der Betten sehr gut und angenehm war, wäre dies für uns ein noch größeres Plus. Allerdings sind Geschmäcker bekanntlich verschieden.

Freundlichkeit

Zeer lekkere keuken, mooi ingerichte kamers, en bijzonder vriendelijk personeel. Daarenboven is het hotel gelegen op de grens van een winkelwandelstraat, en de natuur. Zowel om te winkelen als om prachtige wandelingen te maken, hoef je dus maar een paar minuutjes te lopen.

Spijtig dat er alleen een douche was op onze kamer, en geen minibar. Er is maar beperkte parkeergelegenheid.

Sehr freundlich, offen. Wir kamen von einer Hochzeitsfeier und wollten nur gern noch einen Wein trinken, aber nicht auf dem Zimmer; es wurde uns, obwohl es voll war, gleich ein Platz vom Chef zugewiesen. Gemütlich gut, Zimmer top. Essen werden wir bei der nächsten mal probieren.

De centrale ligging is perfect.

Parkeermogelijkheden zeer beperkt (gratis dan wel te verstaan) De douche was erg klein.

Zeer klantvriendelijk. Er is aan alles gedacht om het verblijf heel aangenaam te maken.

Het restaurant viel niet "tegen" zeker niet: aangename ruimte zowel binnen als op het terras. Maar de kaart die als italiaans aangekondigd is valt wat tegen (de risotto o.m. en weinig groenten) en biedt te weinig variatie (we aten er twee keer). Maar dat zal wellicht nogal subjectief zijn.

Klein hotel; lekker ontbijt; prachtige badkamer; dichtbij veel. Ondanks hoogseizoen heerlijk rustig.

Misschien informatie over wandelingen vanuit het hotel; die lagen niet op een prominente plek in ieder geval want wij hebben ze niet gevonden.
