Hotel Ludwig van Beethoven  

I was looking for a hotel near that area, cos I had a conference there! This hotel was perfect starting from the staff, clean nice room and bathroom, free wifi, rich breakfast and location was near metro and bus stations. I really reccommend this hotel to others.

Very good location for us. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent and very friendly serving staff Room was clean, quiet and comfortable

The lift up to reception was fine but then we had to walk up two extra floors to our room. Perhaps we could have travelled up the two floors by lift but we did not see any instructions showing how this could be done

Hotel Ludwig van Beethoven is clean and quiet and close to the U-bahn station and bus stop. Breakfast is buffet style with a good range of food. The staff are pleasant and very obliging.

Great value for money. Staff was very helpful at all times. The breakfast was fantastic. The hotel was situated great and very close to the metro. I will be back next time I visit Berlin.

Hotel stuff very efficient. Rooms clean and comfortablebreakfast is certainly the highlight both ambiance, variety, presentation and quality. Just off the sban. Over all an excellent experience. Would come again

. T.V. lacks variety for English speakers. Beds too soft for my comfort and I could feel some of the springs in the mattress.

The breakfast is just great (variety, freshness...), even better than in many 4star+ hotels. There is no restaurant in the hotel but you can choose from many others just next door... The hotel is right on the U-Bahn, has private car parking, very nice and clean rooms. Just remember to buy Environmental badge if you travel by car.

The Hotel is situated in a very good lacation, very near to the underground. The staff was quite polite and always friendly and available. Very nice breakfast. The furnitures of the rooms was daily changed and always all clean.

The location suited me for personal reasons. Very friendly and efficient staff.

The rooms were fairly basic and lacking in spare pillows etc. The tv channel selection was very limited for such an hotel in a large European City and not suitable for English speakers. The big downside of this hotel is that breakfast stops at 10am which is too early . The check-out time is also too early at 11am. Both these times are the earliest I have experienced in over 30 years of travelling the world.

For my purpose the best located hotel with good servis and tidy room.

The triple rooms are a proper family room with a separate bedroom. Very comfortable beds and very clean and nicely decorated. Double glazing that worked to cut out traffic noise and a free cup of tea at 1am in the morning. Lovely staff. Superb hotel. Wonderful buffet breakfast too.

I didnt like the fact I was only there for one night!!

I would recommend this hotel for a city trip as it is 100 metres from a large department store (similar to House of Fraser) and this store is on top of the underground (entry via store or street). The hotel was perfect - clean, quiet, warm, re-furbished and staff very friendly and helpful. Nice German and Italian restaurants within 2 min walk. Opposite lovely park. Taxi dropped us off and picked us up at the door - needed to park on the busy urban dual carrageway but no problem and staff called taxi for us at end of stay. Went with 18 yr old daughter and 80 yr old mother in triple room. Breakfast was comprehensive continental with hot sausages, scrambled and boiled eggs. Restaurant overlooks a lovely patio garden. No kettle but thats common in Germany and mum brought her travel kettle with her. Would definitley stay here again.

Excellent value. All you need for a holiday in the big city. Located only 300 m from U-Bahn station. Easy access by car. Helpfull and competent staff. Hearty breakfast included.

The Kreutzberg-Hasenheide area is a bit run down, but colourful and with lots of cheap restaurants.
