The interior design is based on the concept of the architect duo Giuliana Salmaso and Claudio Silvestrin, who have previously designed various Giorgio Armani stores. Their emphasis on functional minimalism contributes to the relaxed atmosphere of the apartment building.
The Hackesche Höfe, the district of Prenzlauer Berg, the Gendarmenmarkt and Museum Island are all just a short walk from the hotel.

Perfect location, friendly and helpful staff, larger-sized rooms, kitchen with fridge, generous helpings of room toilettries, great pillows and towels, very cool design. No bathtub in bathroom (but this is not a biggie for me). No free wireless (this is a biggie for me) - In this day and age it is impossible to function without it - especially with the advent of iphones. This seriously affects my ultimate decision when choosing hotels as I need constant access for work and any hotel of this calibre and price range should offer it as a standard in all packages. This is the only flaw in what is my perfect hotel in Berlin. |

I enjoyed the location and comfort, and staff assistance. It was a pity the restaurant was closed. We were unable to operate a stopper in the sink. |

One of the best hotels I've stayed at recently. The staff was amazing and very welcoming. Location unbeatable. Great design. Loved the kitchenette. The shower is separated from the bedroom with glass and you are almost completely visible. It might be a bit awkward if you're sharing the room with someone else. |

I love minimalist design in hotels, and that is very hard to find! This hotel fit the bill. Great location and great design; courteous and helpful staff. When originally designed, rooms and suites were all white, which i would have preferred, but for some reason a couple of years ago they painted the rooms a light green/grey color. Still very pretty, but not as minimalist as I would have liked. Shower was great; lots of towels and great linens and bed; fantastic balcony (although it rained and I couldn't use it); good sound-proofing; great toiletries. Wish there were more hotels like this around the world - not over-designed, and peaceful to the eye and ear. I was charged for internet by the hour, until I complained and they took it off my bill. Basically, I think hotels should offer free internet. I only used their breakfast option once, because it was really much too expensive for what they offered. Better to go to a local cafe instead. Lastly, I liked it, but I want to point out, as others have, that the shower is exposed through glass to the bedroom. |

The hotel was fun in design and felt like a home away from home. Also it was so central that getting around was a breeze! The restaurant was closed and we weren't notified of that before we made the booking, which was a shame because we were looking forward to it. |

The hotel is situated in a very central and convenient location. The little kitchenette is very handy to make tea or coffee and you can prepare breakfast or even cook a meal in your room. As a welcome gift we found two small bottles of water in the fridge and a tin with a local German gherkin ;o) which were free of charge. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is not included in the room rate and it is quite expensive. There is a hairdresser/spa in the hotel building which we do not recommend as the staff is sloppy and not helpful at all. (This hairdresser/spa is not linked to the hotel, though.) |

The location is pretty amazing - central, close to boutiques, restaurants and bars and yet not noisy. I enjoyed the hotel's understated luxury and modern decorum. Totally trivial touch that made my day: the complimentary Bulgari toiletries - they were fabulous! The breakfast was definitely not worth 16 euros and it did not reflect the hotel's status, it was pretty basic and plain, although the fresh waffles was a good touch. But nothing much else. I didn't mind the walk in, open plan shower, but the attached to the wall shower head was not working properly. |

Ubicación y tranquilidad del hotel y el entorno Algunos elementos de la habitación de mucho diseño pero poco prácticos: bañera sin apoyos y pensada para gente joven, siendo complicado para la de mas edad. Cobro por la utilización del aire acondicionado. |

アレックス至近で便利。スタッフは洗練されていて、感じもよい。広々とした室内、ウィークインクローゼット- 風のスペースが良い。 建造物含め、サイトのイメージよりは随分質素。バスタブが限られた部屋にしか無いのは残念。シャワーも透け- てしまうので、宿泊相手によっては居心地が悪いかもしれません。 |
