Freindly staff. Good continental breakfast. Drinking and dining on the terrace.
A bit tired. Bar didn't open until 6pm. Slow to replace water in the room during hot weather. No backup toilet roll when getting low and bath mat went missing for one day. Ineffective extractor in bathroom. Shower gell was not replaced. Waiter didn't include everything on the bar/resturant bill when we ask to put them on our room each night. We had suspected this but led to confusion when checking out. All slips presented were correct though, some were just not signed. Final bill is presented in the local day rates (which varied) plus breakfast, but this did equal the Booking.com overall rate. Again just confusing.
The address of the hotel given on the reservation confirmation on the booking mobile app was 10 km away from the hotel at the wrong address. Rooms were looking old. There were small harmless spiders. Toilet had no window or other form of ventilation. Toilet water was rusty. When you open the tap and shower, water was rusty for first few seconds or minute. Room was very hot, no ventilator or airconditioner, if you leave window open you could here cars passing by on the motorway all night long.
Nice location close to Speyer, just a 5 minute walk across the river. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very nice and fresh rooms and reception area, newly renovated. Wifi worked great.
Breakfast was a bit thin. Outside of the hotel could use a brush-up.
Great value for money and good location.
It is very convenient as a stopover as it is close to the motorway. The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Although very convenient for the motorway, it is a 20 minute walk over the Rhine on a very busy road bridge.
The staff was very friendly.
The discription of the hotel says: modern bathroom. Well mine was nothing like that (room 18). It was a very small, dirty bathroom. Aslo they say that they have all soundproof rooms. Mine was in front of the hotel and the cars that drove by the whole night, I could hear clearly! In the morning I was the only person at breakfast, the lady of staff asked me if I wanted coffee. After my breakfast I asked where my coffee was.. She forgot!! I was the only person there.......
the price was very reasonable. In the morning we had a very good breakfast in a beautiful restaurant just renovated. It was very quiet in this area just outside the town.
The friendly staff, the clean room
I have no complaine
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was included in the price and was ample. The rooms were very large and comfortable. Very handy for the town, very close to the motorway.
Everything was very good.
friendly welcome from the staff, quiet location 5 minute drive to Speyer centre or Hockenheim track, excellent restraunt and good choice at breakfast,
we had a suite which was lovely.very nice food in the restaurant.lovely breakfast.excellent staff, very friendly
it was a bit chilly so some heat would have been nice in the bedroom
Friendly & helpful staff. Easy access - both from the autobahn and to the town (if you were happy to walk)
The extra €7 cost for breakfast...and another €4 for the water...not quite as cheap as first appeared. Hotel's close proximity to major road not for those who want the window open and are sensitive to noise
The room we had was very big. The restaurant rooms are very old and traditionally decorated.
The bedrooms need to be completed re modernised as do the bathrooms. The whole outside of the hotel needs attention. Looks very dated. Very tired.
The staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was more than we expected.
No a/c, happened to over be there when it was quite warm, so we ended up cutting short our stay. They did provide a type of cooler/fan but we decided to go to another hotel.
Near city center and Tech museum (but need car, anyway)
breakfast (open food and a lot of fly over it)
The location was good for a stopover to visit Speyer, en route to Switzerland. Easy walk over the adjacent bridge to go to the Technical museum. The bathroom facilities were very pleasant. We didn't use the restaurant, but it looked very inviting - unlike the rest of the hotel. Free wi fi was useful.
We had an uninspiring, souless room with curtains that were too short. It was located in a block behind the pictured hotel building, and it was very dark and dreary.Noisy door locks were annoying, as the doors were located in pairs, in one frame. A few small touches would improve this room no end. No interest from breakfast staff - they were only there for a few minutes.
Very nice & friendly staff. Spacious room, very close do Speyer tourist attractions.
It was just what we needed where we needed it...
