it is a hostel not a hotel ! I was searching for a hotel in ebay when i found it.

there was no bathroom in the room, no security and nobody working in the hotel

Location was superb, nice big rooms, really comfortable, friendly people, easy accesable and for the proce you pay it's really in order even though the bathrooms are not in the room but private in the corridor and breakfast was good enough for us

Central location, good buffet breakfast, helpful staff and internet available for a fee or free wifi.

Staff is very helpful all of them speak English, German and Russian

1st room shower off wall /smell / beds too soft / breakfast poor and cheap /nasty after complaint 2nd bedroom better but no stars THIS PLACE IS FOR STUDENTS OR THOSE THAT DONT CARE

Great location, helpful staff

cleaning crew did not do a good job on the bath rooms. The private bathrooms in the hall were locked the whole second day of our trip.

Nice location and relatively cheap!

The room was a bit cold even the heater was at maximum level. Outside temperature was about +3 to -3 Celcius. I guess this won't be a problem in warmer days.

I totally recommend this hotel! The location is amazing! One block away from the buzzling shopping street Freidrichstrasse, 2-3 blocks from Checkpoint Charlie and 5-6 blocks away from Potsdamer Platz. Couldn't been much closer than that. The room we lived in was nice even tho there was no bathroom in the room, but there were one in the "corridor" right next to our room. The bathroom was private and only we could use it. It was okey, not the best but absolutely nothing bad. The crew were very nice and helpful. Most of them were really service minded. The stewardess were friendly but did not speak English very well.

I've got no real complains about this place.

Hotel is basic, but clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Perfect location. Great value for the price.

Location was good - close to transport and walking distance from many sights

The room was very cold; the traffic noise was considerable; the pillows were extremely awful - the pillows, traffic noise and cold meant that we did not sleep well. The bathroom had exposed pipes and did not look inviting; the staff were quite grumpy and did not volunteer any information (they did help if you directly asked them, but I don't think they particularly wanted to)

In the city centre, close to subway station. Good price/value. Free Wi-Fi.

Wi-Fi connection was buggy (needed to set a random IP address myself + public DNS server, else it didn't work)

Everything clicked with this place. Easy access, location that you couldn't beat at the price, clean and large room, big comfy bed - all in the old DDR - you can't often sleep behind the iron curtain in such style. Literally 5 minute languid stroll from Checkpoint Charlie. The bike hire was a good bonus too and a great way to see the flat city, and warm yourself up between the sights in a way that the hop on hop off bus just can't deliver.

I'd have to think about it too long to put down anything - maybe the breakfast is a bit steep? But can't say that confidently as we didn't try it - too many Konditereis and Backeris all around the place.

hotel m68 was in an exellent location from all the sites, and even the further away ones were just a small train trip away, very clean with mostly friendly staff. tho room was a great size and even tho the toilets were shared they were very clean and well kept i think some of the bad reveiws on here were from people expecting far to much for the cost of the rooms. i would recommend this hotel to anyone thats looking for great location and a great price.

the only bad thing i would say was the noise from the road outside in the morning, but if your like me and are there to see the sites you should be up and out your bed before the noise affects you

We left the hotel afther one day en booked an another Hotel. Very bad sanitair end no toilet on the room.

The lift was out of order, but it was not a problem because we stay in the first floor

The location of the hotel was excellent. Only minutes walk to Checkpoint Charlie, The Brandenburg Gate, remnants of the Berlin wall and all the other landmarks from modern history. The 3 members of staff I came into contact with all spoke perfect English and were pleasant and helpful. The room rate was very competative for the location.

The location on the corner of 2 busy city streets was a little noisy. Take note if you are a light sleeper. The shared bathrooms had no soap and none was left in the room.

The room was a good size, The bedding and towels were changed daily. The location was good to most attractions and there is a metro station just 2 minutes walk.

The room was on a main road, Extremely noisy all day and night. No air con in the room, It was extremely warm. The bathroom was filthy, Hairs and grime on the shower floor, walls and around the sink. Also It was awful having to leave the room and walk along the customer corridor for the bathroom every time you needed it. The staff struggled with english. I would not stay here again

Location and stuff are most outstanding hotel features. The rest is quite typical.

There was too much noise by cleaning stuff at 10a.m.

Apart of lockation I like another reason I select the hotel was the option for smoking room,usual I smoke on the window but actually wasnt allowed at all.and the window was so high and small,:( another thing the furniture was amazing ugly and old and I think the price was quite high for the quality of the comfort
