We went to Frankfurt for the Christmas market. The location was ideal being about a 10 minute walk from Romer. The room was adequate for a short break but the breakfast was very good. |

Extremely nice staff. Well maintained, very clean. Somewhat updated 1950s building.. At checkout, hotel charged different rates than Booking.com rates but they quickly adjusted bill when they were shown the Booking.com record we had. Rooms are quite small. Miniscule elevator. You have to leave key at front desk and pick it up when leaving or coming back - perhaps a local custom. |

Friendly, obliging staff. Good breakfast in nice surroundings. Excellent restaurant, Beds are very small. Cleaning staff noisy at early hours of the morning. |

The hotel was in a great location in a quiet neighborhood - near good restaurants and just a short walk from city center. Rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable. Someone next door was smoking on the 2nd night of our stay, and it made our room smell of smoke also. |

The hotel is located in a quiet area in the Sachsenhausen district and is close to museum row. Staff were considerate and helpful. The restaurant is very good. The rooms are basic; the construction of windows, doors, and walls was not very soundproof. Service at breakfast was lacking and the coffee was weak. |

I did not like the thing that during booking, I mentioned that I need a double room, as arrived I was given a twin room. Another thing I strictly mentioned that I need a non smoking room, again,I was given a room that some one has been smoking in it. |

The hotel is clean, is in a quiet location, near a park and near The Main River. The food was good. They didn't accept for paying my Visa electron card. |

We felt the service was good. Breakfast was excellent. Friendly staff. The bathroom fan wasn't working so the room got quite hot because of the steam from the shower. We would say that the room needed at least a fan of some sort, if not a proper a/C. |

Location was excellent - everything is very close and the hotel is across from a park in a quiet area. The beds/pillows were comfortable, the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was good. The only problem we had was the smell of smoke. We were on a non-smoking floor, but the air venting system somehow sent the smokey smell in through the bathroom vent system. I'm rather sensitive, so it might not bother others. |

We enjoyed our stay at Maingau Hotel. It was comfortable, clean, and the staff was helpful and accomodating. The restaurant was closed for remodelling, it would have been nice to have the restaurant open for convenience. |
