great view, nice staff, good breafast, central localization
could have been a little cleaner
Very bad hygiene. Fungus in the bathroom. Body louse in the bed that we found the next day after my face and arms were covered with bites. Not all the staff was helpful and kind. Internet not working properly anad you have to pay for that.
Nice location, on the river side. Spacious room. Friendly staff.
Wifi was not free.
Helpful staff, small but neat gym room, clean rooms and common areas, decent breakfast, WiFi is paid but not expensive and works well. It's a bit further from Hbf than other hotels but it's worth the trip.
I requested a room with a view of the river....they made it happen. It was beautiful. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was good too. We didn't pay for wifi because they had a T-mobile Hot spot. The bathroom was spacious. We had a tub and a shower. My wife loved the make up mirrors in the bathroom. We felt like we had privacy. I would stay there again for sure.
There was no iron in the room. I would have had to pay for a late check out. I didn't like the two twin beds put together, it has a crease in between the mattresses, but that's common. WIFI could have been free.
location, rooms were spacious, breakfast was good
Wi-FI only works in lobby and the rooms can be noisey if you have to have the windows open
Excellent location near the river and very friendly staff.
No sound isolation between the rooms. Lost sleep because of the neighbour's usage of bathroom.
Nice place, friendly people. Good staff.
I don´t understand why people should have to pay to access the internet. Internet should be free.
Close to city center and river
No parking at hotel - had to park car in public parking No free wifi Towels old and worn TV small and old - very limited channels Bathroom small and cramped with cheap shower curtain No power outlets near bed for iPhone/iPads
The hotel is a basic 3 star. Double room we stayed was large and we were wery satisfied.
No curtain in the bathroom for shower.
The room is very clean and comfortable. It is wide for 2 people and the preis is valuable for the facalities. Next to the hotel, there are river Rhein. It is near to Mainzer Dom.
When man wanna use WiFi, man need to pay it. That was not free of charge.
The room was quiet. It is about 15+ minutes from tourist sites.
Bus service to the hotel can be infrequent.
calm rerlaxed atmosphere
The staff Mr. Patrick was really nice to my friend and I, we enjoyed our stay there. I will definitely come back again and recommend this hotel to my friends!
Very good modern city center hotel with very friendly staff. Great buffer breakfast for only 5 euros.
Unfortunate that my room on the 6th floor was close to lift drive mechanism which I could hear clearly until the early hours. This kept me awake.
Train station near, walk to cruise boats. Affordable. Convenient.
Needs some remodelling.
very old fashioned
The balcony was very lovely and the breakfast really good. Room was comfortable.
Close to the river, the station and congress center. Great breakfast. Cheap internet connection
Very noising. You can't sleep with the window open (no a/c).
Bathroom, Sauna and location! Amazing breakfast
location of the hotel is very near to river and a quite area.
You can walk across the street and onto the river promenade. You can also easily walk to the center of town (5 to 10 min). Mainz has many pedestrian friendly streets - get a map. Staff was very helpful, spoke good engish. We got a room for 3, extra bed was small but adequate. Paid extra $4 for wifi for 24 hrs, which we didn't mind since even with that room was a good value. Wifi worked great. Was told refrigerator was not working but it worked fine. Had wake up call (not all placed we stayed has this in Europe. Close to airport. It was on a busy road, but soundproof windows made it very quiet in our room. A good place to stay on your first day into frankfurt airport or just before you leave. We ended our trip here, and walked along the river, through town, and took a drive up the river to Koblenz that last 2 days. It was not the ritz but was nice, good staff, great location
Internet in lobby didn't work. We didn't know it, but we came in the side door (looked like main door, but was not the main door facing the river) and missed all the maps/tourist info on the racks. Probably our fault for not looking around but we were tired.
we had booked the hotel on the internet because he admitted animals (we have a small dog dachshund), but when we arrived we were told that it was forbidden to take the dog where there was breakfast, but we could not even leave the dog alone in the room .. . then what should be done? Furthermore, only the day after arrival and when we announced that we would not have had breakfast at the hotel, we were told that the cost for the stay of the dog was 8 euro for day, subject to the prohibitions. Evidently it is not a structure suitable for those who have animals!
