The staff Mr. Patrick was really nice to my friend and I, we enjoyed our stay there. I will definitely come back again and recommend this hotel to my friends!
Train station near, walk to cruise boats. Affordable. Convenient.
Needs some remodelling.
very old fashioned
The balcony was very lovely and the breakfast really good. Room was comfortable.
Close to the river, the station and congress center. Great breakfast. Cheap internet connection
Very noising. You can't sleep with the window open (no a/c).
Bathroom, Sauna and location! Amazing breakfast
location of the hotel is very near to river and a quite area.
You can walk across the street and onto the river promenade. You can also easily walk to the center of town (5 to 10 min). Mainz has many pedestrian friendly streets - get a map. Staff was very helpful, spoke good engish. We got a room for 3, extra bed was small but adequate. Paid extra $4 for wifi for 24 hrs, which we didn't mind since even with that room was a good value. Wifi worked great. Was told refrigerator was not working but it worked fine. Had wake up call (not all placed we stayed has this in Europe. Close to airport. It was on a busy road, but soundproof windows made it very quiet in our room. A good place to stay on your first day into frankfurt airport or just before you leave. We ended our trip here, and walked along the river, through town, and took a drive up the river to Koblenz that last 2 days. It was not the ritz but was nice, good staff, great location
Internet in lobby didn't work. We didn't know it, but we came in the side door (looked like main door, but was not the main door facing the river) and missed all the maps/tourist info on the racks. Probably our fault for not looking around but we were tired.
we had booked the hotel on the internet because he admitted animals (we have a small dog dachshund), but when we arrived we were told that it was forbidden to take the dog where there was breakfast, but we could not even leave the dog alone in the room .. . then what should be done? Furthermore, only the day after arrival and when we announced that we would not have had breakfast at the hotel, we were told that the cost for the stay of the dog was 8 euro for day, subject to the prohibitions. Evidently it is not a structure suitable for those who have animals!
location,river view, terrace,room, cleanliness,breakfast
lack of soundproof, no air conditioning, bed
good location near city center
old furniture, bad maintenance staff forgot wake up call
Clean, comfortable, nice breakfast, good coffee.
Noisy due to street traffic.
room hot and stuffy
Nice staff, big room with bath. Pleasant sort of place which would be suitable for an extended stay. Retro 80s decor. Great location by artificial beach on Rhine.
Smell of smoke in room and also strange smell in bathroom.
view 10-15 minute walk from train station
traffic noise humidity- no ventilation or fan couldn't sleep due to either traffic noise with window open or suffocation due to lack of air and humidity with window closed (after 2am quiet enough to sleep with window open until about 6.30am)
Location, the view, sunrise, room size, cleanliness, good breakfast, helpful staff, short walk to some of the main attractions.
The pillows are flat, no air conditioning.
A ten minute walk from the KD pier. Convenient and comfortable room. Little old fashioned but not a disadvantage. However sadly missed kettle in room for tea/coffee making but staff supplied mugs hot water on request.
Il fatto che il wi-fi fosse a pagamento. The fact that I had to pay to get the wi-fi.
Location was great, price was good, I'd stay again.
Breakfast was good but personnel was somewhat slow to deliver. The reception lady was very helpful e.g. by giving useful restaurant tips. The room was spacious and well lit. The location of the hotel was good and the parking hall was nearby.
There was no air-conditioning in the room, only a fan. The interior of the room was slighly worn. The wi-fi was not free of charge.
Great value hotel in Mainz. Not a great tourist spot, but good for a night when traveling through. The staff when we arrived was so-so. The morning staff was excellent.
The internet is not free.
I did not have any dislikes. The hotel is dated in its decor but it was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was an extra 7 euro per person but was good in both its variety and quality.
Close to river.
Fair walk to town.
