Individual room style
clean, very nice Staff
the bed was not comfortable
The location just next to the tube, spacious room and bathroom, friendly and helpful receptionists. Interesting enjoyable decor and furnishings. Breakfast was good, no variety of foods though.
The cob webs in the corners, dusty curtains on the windows, shelves in the room and windowsills not wiped for a long time. The hotel is a good value for your money, and you cannot expect glamour for such reasonable price, but cleanness you should... And a remark to all future guests: the walls are very thin...
- good location near to ubahn
-the reception is in one building and the room in a private house next to it - you get like 5 keys for the whole building - the staff during breakfast was rude and unfriendly - breakfast book online its cheap at the reception like 8 euro not worth it
Close to the Kurfustendam Value for money Large rooms (Apartment) Breakfast ok Free parking around the corner
Staf was really unfriendly No creditcards accepted, only cash
The place is really clean and the rooms are like shown in pictures. Very comfortable, and great location - just a 2 minute walk down to Adenauerplatz U Bahn.
The TV didn't work in our room and the internet is a little weak. Also, make sure to check when making payments as even if you paying by cash, the amount will be locked on your card. It will be unlocked and released back into your account upon check-out (I hope, cause I'm still waiting).
I feel like home and living in Berlin every time I stay there. High roofs, simple but tasteful decoration (OK, that s personal), large bathroom with daylight, black and white tiles. When I am travelling for many days, it is pleasant not to feel like in a hotel and grabbing a bit of the place's spirit.
The neighbors across the corridor seem to have been cooking in their room, which was not very pleasant..
Location - in fact two steps from the Best shopping Street. Good breakfast, good WiFi.
Strange - reception working daily only till 21.
We got a nice spacious room on the top floor with a kitchenette and plenty of space for our baby as well. Location is right next to the U-Bahn and within 5 minutes of the rail station. Good internet connection. Breakfast was plentiful as well.
Room was cleaned superficially, in particular the floor, where dust accumulated under the bed and furniture. Other than that everything else was good.
Perfect location for travelers: U-bahn station, traditional German restaurant, Kurfuerstendamm shopping street and lots of cafes and stores nearby. Awesome 1916 building with a touch of vintage charm, rooms with 5 meter high ceilings, hardwood floors, a balcony and amazing bed with curtains.
Only 1 parking place. Always busy.
Balcony, chandelier, big room, warm colours, high ceiling, vintage atmosphere, many cosy lamps; efficient heating; nice and cosy breakfast in family run studio hotel; close to underground.
Bad general lighting; no lighting by the kitchenette; small TV with lousy reception; only German channels (except for BBC News).
The girl on the reception desk was very friendly and sympathic. The free Wifi was very good. The location of the hotel is very central. The bath room was good.
The look of the room was very poor and reminded me on my room during my time at the army. The cleaning staff comes every day but I am not sure for what. The bathroom was cleaned but the floor of the room was never cleaned and changing of the towels seemed to be a big problem. The elevator is kind of very old and slow. Its not possible to get a second room key which is very uncomfortable for a couple which is used to come home not in the same time. All in all its not worth while the money.
Only staff and break fast near by location it was many brand shops , you are near by train station
The pictures are not same as reality, internet weak, this is hotel appartement at the buliding at list 80 years old, you will gave 5 keys one for the main door when you want to go to buildinh one for opening elevator one for open ure segmennt area and one for ure room our heather doesnt working i asked them to fix it reply is this is old building u have too wait for 2 hours after that time its still freezing hope god she is helpful girl and gave us one electrical heather that small heather save us
Location was decent. Within walking distance. Although not real central. Close to U Metro. Breakfast was OK.
I asked specifically for quiet location. They gave me room next to washer. So it became very noisy when they did laundry. Lighting in the hallways would go off if half way up the stairs and was very dark and dangerous. Elevator very old and antiquated. Just a very old building and not maintained well.
- Very good location - Not an ordinary Hotel which is quite interesting (two floors in a block of flats separated, and apartments converted to rooms) - One of the receptionist was very helpful and friendly, she even gave discount from the breakfast as she has seen how rude the maid was with us
- Very thin walls, you can hear almost everything from your neighbor - Reception availability limited from 8 am to 22 pm. And actually they are leaving around 21h30.. On your first day you better arrive early, unless you can get the key from the bar next to the Hotel after quick search - Prepay mandatory: You have to pay on your first day which can cause some inconvenience, for e.g. we wanted to decide later on how to pay (card or cash) depending on how we would spend our money in Berlin in the forthcoming days - the maid/waitress is very rude at the breakfast (which also not a big thing for 7 EUR/person) For e.g.: when I wanted to have coffee around 10 am she replied in a very dumb way: "But this is the last! And no more things like this, right? It is too late!" - On our first day we realized that the shower tube was clogged. It is carelessness from the Hotel to hand over a room like that. - The wifi wasn't working in our room (8), only in the hall. The signal strength could have been stronger
All was perfect, like always, cause I'm not the first time there. What I mean exactly ? Staff, design, location, strong wi-fi, comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast.
bed, the very simple and elegant interior of room
internet was not so fast
I was traveling with my companion to Berlin for 2 days, so i found this hotel cheap included breakfast. Location of hotel very good. 10 minutes with bus from Zoogarden. Rich breakfast that it will give you energy for whole day. Room big and soft bed.
Breakfast was too poor... Waste of money...
Location is perfect for tourists coming by car (however hotel is in 6th Berlin parking zone, free only on Sundays). Free welcoming drink in the bar nearby. Good breakfast. Wifi on 4th floor was working after asking for router restart.
Old school shabby chic but not run-down. No shower but a very nice bath to soak in. I enjoyed my stay as did my friends and would book again.
My room was too small for a double, which I'd booked. No chair or seat to sit on either.
Room was nice and clean. Staff was friendly and breakfast was very good. The location is very close to the famous shopping district, and is accessible via bus and S-bahn to downtown Berlin. Definitely ask about the buses! They can save you a lot of walking. Also convenient for going to the zoo! We were able to find free parking on an adjacent street.
Room was a little small for 3 adults, but we probably should have just gotten two rooms. There is some traffic noise - not an issue for people who are used to living in cities though. The towels were a little thin, but just an observation! They worked well enough!
Location, the only good thing about this hotel
It is not a Boutique hotel. It is an old and refurbished hotel assembled with used appliances from other places. Example: the TV, an old one, came from UK (because of the plug adapter), so as lamps (we had three in our room, and only one worked). Wi-fi was not working. Bed seems to be teh one from a hostel.
