WiFi was super slow (0.2mbps down). Parking area had a difficult entrance and slots were narrow
Interior and rooms like from the 70-ies, but good sleep and excellent breakfast. Garage available too.
situated in centre of the city
staff not very welcoming bad value for money expensive breakfast
The staff are very friendly and very helpful - 10 out of 10 for the staff.
the room decor is a bit stuck in the 70s - the room I got was painted in orange and green carpets and had not undergone any refurbishment since then. The tv was very small and the bathroom is very tiny. the mirror was too tiny and placed behind a door so you could not see yourself in full length.
good location and clean
Very old and I would say it needs to be updated
Nothing, except the location.
1. The Wi-Fi is not compatible with Apple devices as conveyed by the Reception staff. If you are lucky it gets connected otherwise your patience is tested to its threshold. 2. The morning staff at the reception was unfriendly. 3. The room I checked-in appeared to be clean, but shockingly found an underwear lying in the room. In short inefficient Housekeeping. 3. My planned trip was 6-7 days but it got shortened to 2-3 days due to early work settlement. The hotel kept all the amount as cancellation charges (i.e. for 4 nights - 537 Euros) and refused to reimburse any amount. The reason they stated is that I booked by 'booking.com'. This is completely not justified whether penalty is levied by 'booking.com' or by the hotel itself. Why does a guest has to pay for the nights he/she hasn't stayed for? I could have agreed for any titled cancellation fees but there is no sense that if in any case a trip is shortened due to any reason, the whole amount of remaining nights shall be forfeited. 4. To do the least. the hotel could have reimbursed the amount which was paid against up-gradation of the room at the counter itself and had no link with 'booking.com'. But they did not care to do so.
The women from the reception was really cind and helpful. I dont have anything to complain.. everything what they promised was there and i had a good holiday.
Fairly comfortable rooms
Small congested bathroom, no tea, no drinking water, could not get an appropriate power adaptor for all seven days of my stay as the hotel has ran out of them!
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
The wifi is ok but not very fast
I thought I had originally booked a double room (travelling as a couple) but was given a twin upon arrival. I asked to be moved and I was, but the staff were quite rude and reluctant about it. In fact, the receptionist didn't speak. She just clicked away at the computer for some time and handed me new keys. There was also a lot of exposed wires in the hallways.
the wifi becomes very slow in the evening!
Location, no far away from the center of Mannheim
Restaurant was closed on Saturday
Location, car parking facilities and kitchenette
Rooms rather small
Staff were very helpful and polite. Good Breakfast. Close to Ubahn. Relatively quiet. Most things worked! If you know where to look there are a few reasonable restaurants in the area.
Reception could be more welcoming and bigger. Disabled access could be higher priority.
very low internet connection which is not acceptable when hotel put this option in front
The matress was superb and the everything was very clean. There is a small kitchenette, which is a brillant facility if you are travelling alone and don't want to eat alone in a restaurant.
Since the hotel offers rooms for smokers, and since the doors are not very tight, there was a most annoying overall smell of cigarette smoke even in non-smoking rooms. In addtion to this, there is not much noise-protection in the building, why an early morning athmosphere characterised by slamming doors, clicking heels and toiletflushing must be expected. The place is ideal for smokers using earplugs. It is not suited for non-smokers.
The hotel is fine in all respects with the exception of value for money. I think there was probably a cheaper alternative. But it was clean and quiet with pleasant staff.
Nothing flash but good clean rooms and easy on the budget.
Location was ok, we could walk to the city center. The room was big enough and had a small kitchen and a fridge.
There were no pots or anything else that you could use to cook, so the kitchen was pretty useless. The elevetor was a floor higher than the ground floor; not very comfortable to carry the baby stroller up and down.
Location in the city...pantry in the room... good price
Parking, friendly staff, central location
The coffee at breakfast and the mattresses were, for me, too hard.
The staff. It was close to the CBD. The fridge in the room.
The room was not clean enough. There were dirty dishes in the cupboard. The wifi was on and off.
Place, staff are at right place
Prices for breakfast
Easy access to city center
The first thing we didnt like at all was the extremely rude receptionist. The parking was also paid!!!
