The staff were excellent, offering advice on the best ways on getting into the centre of town and letting us leave the car in the car park even after we'd checked out. They even printed off a route map for our journey to another hotel for the following night when we realised we'd forgotten to do so. The toilet door would not shut properly as the latch didn't come out of the lock, however this was not so much of an issue as it was possible to push the door to and for it to remain so. I'm not sure the decoration was necessarily "flamboyant" or "exquisite" in our room, but it was clean so we were not bothered by this. |

The staff were very friendly, the rooms were spacious, clean, smart and modern with good bathrooms and good showers, it was quiet, there were enough pillows (and not those soggy things one usually gets in German hotels!) and the package represented great value for money. The hotel was quite a long way out of the Altstadt which makes it rather expensive for taxis if you want to dip in and out of the city - between 11 and 15 Euros each way depending on traffic. Nip back to the hotel to shower and change before popping into town to catch some nightlife and you'll need 60 Euros a day. Of course, there might have been bus services but to be honest, we didn't look. |

lobby yes, the jaccuzzi was cold, the entire jaccuzi area was cold. sauna did not work. no AC in the room. |

Very nice hotel, especially for the price. More than what we expected. Staff very friendly. Rooms clean with new windows. We would stay here again. A bit far from the nearest U-bahn/S-bahn station - 10-15 minute walk. |

Just outside the "umweltplakette" zone and only 15min from the dom with the bus. The spa facillities were very nice to use, and very clean! The room was clean and quit, with free use of the minibar! The only thing that we experienced as negative was that the matresses were seperate and also the blankets. And the pillows were quite thin. But this is only a very minor point. |

Free Parking. Staff was excellent: nice and helpful. Nice bar (although a bit small). We had a problem with an extra bed that was not in the room, but they gave us a suite for the first night. Excellent handling of the problem. No extra charge. Location is not perfect, but it's easy to find and you can catch the bus to the city center at a few steps (timetable available at reception). Could use from a renewed decoration. Everything is a bit "old fashioned" (80's). Not really a problem, since everything was working and clean. Not the best 4 star hotel we've been to, but fair enough. |

I was there literally to sleep a few hours before the fair the next day so was there very little. I liked the fact it was very peaceful, very clean and the staff very friendly and professional. It served my needs perfectly. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room but cold drinks in the fridge were free. |
