Affordable ho(s)tel quite far away from the city center,but included sauna (too warm) and a jacuzzi (too cold !). Staff is nice and polite but was not able to advice us about troubles in the subway and with buses: we have spent 1h30 to reach the "Dom" (cathedrale) instead of 30 minutes very old fashion enhancement. Our room was pretty dirty with dust under and around the beds. 2 separated beds instead of one large one as ordered.quite far away from the city center anyway. The ho(s)tel is located in a block along an arterial highway. No soap in the bathroom. Most equipment gym does not work |

Nice clean room No airco, soft pillows, low shower not really for tall people. You were able to open the window, but then you had traffic sounds. |

The staff were excellent, offering advice on the best ways on getting into the centre of town and letting us leave the car in the car park even after we'd checked out. They even printed off a route map for our journey to another hotel for the following night when we realised we'd forgotten to do so. The toilet door would not shut properly as the latch didn't come out of the lock, however this was not so much of an issue as it was possible to push the door to and for it to remain so. I'm not sure the decoration was necessarily "flamboyant" or "exquisite" in our room, but it was clean so we were not bothered by this. |

The staff were very friendly, the rooms were spacious, clean, smart and modern with good bathrooms and good showers, it was quiet, there were enough pillows (and not those soggy things one usually gets in German hotels!) and the package represented great value for money. The hotel was quite a long way out of the Altstadt which makes it rather expensive for taxis if you want to dip in and out of the city - between 11 and 15 Euros each way depending on traffic. Nip back to the hotel to shower and change before popping into town to catch some nightlife and you'll need 60 Euros a day. Of course, there might have been bus services but to be honest, we didn't look. |

Very nice hotel, especially for the price. More than what we expected. Staff very friendly. Rooms clean with new windows. We would stay here again. A bit far from the nearest U-bahn/S-bahn station - 10-15 minute walk. |

Just outside the "umweltplakette" zone and only 15min from the dom with the bus. The spa facillities were very nice to use, and very clean! The room was clean and quit, with free use of the minibar! The only thing that we experienced as negative was that the matresses were seperate and also the blankets. And the pillows were quite thin. But this is only a very minor point. |

Free Parking. Staff was excellent: nice and helpful. Nice bar (although a bit small). We had a problem with an extra bed that was not in the room, but they gave us a suite for the first night. Excellent handling of the problem. No extra charge. Location is not perfect, but it's easy to find and you can catch the bus to the city center at a few steps (timetable available at reception). Could use from a renewed decoration. Everything is a bit "old fashioned" (80's). Not really a problem, since everything was working and clean. Not the best 4 star hotel we've been to, but fair enough. |

Ik vond vooral de prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding opvallend goed. Hotel is niet echt op loopafstand van het centrum van Keulen, maar taxi's zijn niet echt duur. De kamer was schoon, goede badkamer, de bedden waren uitstekend en de rest van de faciliteiten functioneerden naar behoren. |
