Value for money, spacious room, touch of class, beautiful interior. WiFi arrangement good and inexpensive.
Room was not very sound proof, disturbed by exterior conversations and closing of doors. Breakfast rather expensive.
atmosfere is good bed is super very quit
balkon was dramatic(loose stones etc) everything little old
View of one of Hannover's loveliest old buildings
Cost Rather stressed/ slightly ungracious reception staff Rather tired building
The carpet was dirty, worn and stained . The room smelled stale and dusty. We took photos!
location, staff, room space, bath, TV, Safe
No Air Condition.
We arrive an saw at the reception A VERY UNPLEASANT LOOKING men. I ve never seen such an ugly person working at the reception- because those people are a kind of face of the hotel.... Anyhow... He looked like a skin illness person... Moreover he was very unpolite that we RESIGNED from our reservation.
4 star comfort. Helpful staff.
Staff, restaurant was awesome, location, bar
The balconies are in terrible condition. This was really disturbing. Concrete falling apart and the building actually looks like it is about to be/should be demolished. No air conditioning and super hot in summer heat. The other thing is the system they have to categorize rooms is ridiculous. I paid for a junior suite but had to move to another room (35 celcius temperatures in the room with no ac- they wheeled up a portable ac unit but this meant leaving the balcony door open and noise and flies come in full force!). One would think that junior suite is smaller/not as nice as a senior suite... The senior suites are actually much smaller. The biggest thing was the building itself is essentially falling apart... How on earth does a hotel rate itself this star rating when most 2-3 stars are in better physical condition. This building should be and will likely be demolished. And another thing!!! I was there on business for 11 days in a row... There was no internet access due to almost non-existent wifi signal... When I asked to switch rooms to get a signal (to get business done on the computer daily!) I found out that almost none of the JUNIOR/end suites have any signal. The boss at the front desk, instead of acknowledging this, trued to tell me it was the problem with the isp!! He ended the phone call abruptly by forwarding my call to the isp!!! Of course, this was a waste off time, as the isp person and I knew exactly what the problem was: the hotel didn't give a darn about ensuring a strong enough signal to the end rooms... And there are a lot of them! I booked my collegues into the Marriot Maschsee, which is a nice hotel... This Maritim should be shut down by the company asap... Or at least drop your prices in half. A rip off.
The room was lovely and big and the bed very comfortable. Good size bathroom
Not being able to get free wifi in any part of the hotel. Everywhere else we travelled wifi was freely available which you depend upon to keep in touch with emails etc when away from home and lots of travelers don't have a computer to use the internet but have smart phones or tablets
Decor a bit tired Lack of enough sockets in room WiFi hopeless Window wouldn't open once closed
Entrance to the hotel is very grand from the red carpet to the large open and luxurious reception area. Attentive staff. View of the town hall especially at night is quite impressive
Rooms seem to be last decorated in the 1970's, furniture and decor all very dated. The carpet in my room was literally thread bare. Windows hadn't been cleaned in some time. 20 euro charge for breakfast on top of the 94 euro room was a bit steep, especially considering the dated interior. I have stayed in more modern hotels with breakfast included for less.
The bed was a real king, not two twins together, and quite comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Location is alright. There are many restaurants and shops in the area.
This hotel needs serious renovation and updating. The decor seems not to have been updated since the 1990s. The standard in all aspects -- furniture, public spaces and particularly, bath -- is very old fashioned, and borders on kitsch. Even the building itself needs serious sprucing up. My partner referred to it as the "barracks." To call itself a 4 star hotel is nearly impossible, as it does not reflect the current industry standard. Additionally, it is inexcusable in this day of age to charge 15 Euro for WLAN. For the price paid, one expects more.
We stayed at this hotel many times. The location is excellent, and so is the service.
No Wi-Fi in room. Breakfast a little bit pricy.
Good location close to city centre and to the lake "Maschsee", very comfortable beds; lot of choices for breakfast
no free wi-fi available
as the description of the room states the room was very comfortable. A double bed, a separate sitting area, a separate desk and a big closet. The bathroom had a bath and a lot of space around the basic to place your own stuff.
There was life music outside and I could hear the noise in the room, even when the room was supposed to be quiet.
Good Location : Close to center of the city.
There is no free wi-fi network in the hotel.
Internet worked extremely well.
Internet could have been included in the price as well as the breakfast also which was surely not worth 20 €... Facilities were quite old.
Well connected Nice & efficient staff
Old carpet & furniture. Expensive during fair-time.
For instance no free wifi arranged. Maritim really can't do without this these days anymore..
close to ciity center
No wi fi internet
shower was slow and tepid
Comfortable room Easy access by car
Noise level from outside Pay extra for Internet (9€) Pay extra for parking (18€)
