Maritim Hotel Nürnberg  

The room I stayed in is a bit "run down, out dated" and needs to be re-built. The room's (#424) electrical system does not support today's computer/device laddened business traveler. The phone next to my bed did not work!

The hotel was in a very good location, close to the main train station-very short walk. Just outside the old part of Nurnberg. I chose this hotel based on location and because it had what looked like a nice pool. I was very pleased to discover that the pool was just as lovely as it looked in the picture. Our 9 yr. son had a great time swimming in the evening. The pool was immaculate and fresh towels were provided poolside. It had a great ambience and my husband and I found it quite relaxing.

Location was close to xmas market and train station.

The staff did not have our room ready for three people. My daughters bed was not ready. Also, the bathroom was not as clean as I like and they did not have towels and linens for three people. We had to call and have them prepare the room for 3.

We were visiting the Christmas Markets and touring the city over a four day stay. The location was perfect for this purpose. The train station is a short walk away and the Altstadt is just through the tunnel. All the major sights were within walking distance or an easy tram ride away. Since we were there on St. Nikolas Tag we were delighted to find candy and lebkuchen both in the room the night before and hanging on our door the next morning. Nice touch.

The breakfast was unusually expensive at 19 Euros per person so we did not get the breakfast option. Also Wi-Fi was way overpriced and we found that we could get online at cafes or the information center when we needed to. Terrycloth Bathrobes and a free newspaper were to be included in the room. We finally found out as we were leaving that they were only available if you called the main desk and requested them. this wasn't clear in the advertisement.

Great location, walking distance from main station and old town/shopping.

The friendly atmosphere of the hotel and its location just a short walk to the Altstadt and the ongoing Christkindlesmarkt. I have stayed at the Maritim a number of times previously on business so know that it is a quality hotel hence my choice.

Hotel was very busy with coach tours that disrupted breakfast, but not too much.

Just over the road from the walled Old Town. The bedrooms are large, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed. The public rooms are very elegant especially the restaurant. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. We had one 'al a carte' dinner which was delicious. The following evening was a buffet dinner which was fantastic. The choice of food was amazing. All the staff were extremely friendly

Nothing to dislike

Central localization, fast access to train station and old town area, also to the airport. Good room, friendly staff always available to help you, good breakfast and restaurant services.

The location to the Alstadt was great and convenient

Its Location to the Christmas Market, the Indoor Pool and Sauna, and the fact that we got double rooms connecting for the convenence of our older children and pets.

Our room smelled of smoke when it was supposed to be a non smoking room, the bed was hard and a little uncomfortable to sleep on. And the fact that the water, was not free (very expensive), and there was no tea or coffee in the room to make the stay there enjoyable and the bar drinks were very expensive for their supposed quality which was very minimal.

The hotel is very comfortable, quiet and very well located at a short walking distance from the old inner city. The buffet is marvellous. The rooms are spacious. The staff is very cooperative and very friendly;

A little pricey, lots of hotels nearby for cheaper and the hotel is very busy so expect a crowd. it was nice though if I had to I would stay again.

The restaurant is very good; valet parking ; Spa (pool, sauna)

Rooms are not up to standard of a 4-5 star hotel; beds are lumpy, pillow way too soft and only one available. Had to ask for a bath robe and slippers. Mini bar contained half empty bottle(s) and in my colleagues room a half eaten sandwich! Means nobody checked!! Air-con barely working; opening windows not a good idea since the place is facing main road. Service in hotel bar not attentive (as opposed to the restaurant). Place full with tour groups ; typically over 70 years old. Not recommended for business travelers!

Big room, twin beds, separated living. Bathroom not too big but confortable. Excelent staff. All we needed came very soon: fan, extra pillows and towels. And valet service.

Just the aircon (in Europe it never works in the beginning of spring) and the lack of shelves in the wardrobe.

Location is perfect. Staff is kindly.

Considerando que todo estaba en perfecto estado creo que no le estaria mal algunas reformas para poder transmitir una imagen de mayor modernidad .
