Wanted to iron my shirt after travel. Reception told me several times they would bring it, turned out the guy didn't understand english. Then somebody who did speak english came to my room and pointed out that the hotel doesn't bring iron and ironboard, that I should do it in the hallway (!) where they had put an iron on a chain.... Ridiculous.
Cleanliness and friendly staff
That the floor I slept at had smokers in the lobby and this should not be allowed as smoke travels via air to my room at 76. A smoke free room should also have a smoke free lobby! People were always noisy along the corridors when they returned late and this disturbed my restful sleep between 12 to 2 am.
Room was very big, bedding was great. My room overlooked a small cemetery and was super-quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was massive and had great variety
I liked it all.
Successful arrangement of hotel. Königsstrasse Street is in 5-10 minutes of walking. The personnel of hotel is polite and benevolent.
Signal the Wi-Fi quite weak.
- clean room - comfy bed - good location
- free wifi was a little bit slow
Location was good. A bit outside the center but still only a foot walk away.
Dirty, run down, smelly. Needs a renovation desperately.
The cemetery on the backyard
The clean lady screaming from 7:30 an on in the hallway I was on the room 271 (terrible location)
- Big Rooms
- Bad pillows - Bad smell from the furniture + bed
Only having the use of a computer for 15 minutes
Very quite for central location, only 10min walk to the heart of the city. Gym area was well equipped with free weights & pulley system as well as cardio machines.
Quite a long walk from reception to room.
Toilet flush system was not good for foreign guests to understand
Cleanliness and friendly service
No free wifi internet facility
Everything. Also 2 minutes walk from Liederhalle, where I was going, and 10 minutes walk from the city centre
No free wifi, but you can buy a Telekom card for 5 euros, and it will last 24 hours. No breakfast included, but for that price the hotel is really fantastic
Oldfashioned very old TV
friendly staff, junior suite was generous in size, close to city centre
parking is at 20 EUR per day too expensive, the old type TV with very poor reception
I like the hotel my second stay there in the past 3 years. The rooms , breakfast and location are great.
Easy check in- check out, friendly, surroundings,
-horrendous price for breakfast, fire alarm at 4.15- no info-no sorry-a/c not works, smoking room very smelly, old tv, pool&sauna not open 24h, no free wifi,
Location, Breakfast, Room
Strong smell of cigarettes from my pillow. Having to pay for WiFi. Surely at this cost, the hotel should supply free basic wifi facilities, even to check mail?
The breakfast buffet was really good. The hotel is situated in the center of town.
That you need to pay for internet. As a business traveler I would expect to be able to work on my room without extra pay.
Wc in the room was dirty. I had to call house keeping to dezenfactation... I was totaly surprized.
The room was old dowdy, therfore I asked to have an other room and on the receipton let me know, that my room was refurbished for a couple of month ago. The room, bathroom, TV looks like worn and from the 70teens. Moreover I asked for internet on the reception and they told me to use, from the hotel independent, a local provider because Maritim does not offer WIFI at all. I took the local provider but I did not receive any receipt, so that I can use it for my expense report. Summary: Never again, worsest Hotel ever
1. Location- very central and walking distance from the Main Railway station and Central Stuttgart/Koenig Strasse. 2. Food: Very good choice and variety of places to eat within 10 to 15 mins walk. 3. Taxis available almost round the clock 4. Neat, comfortable rooms 5. Quiet area 6. Friendly reception staff
1.The way to the rooms was longwinding and confusing. Using two different lifts, different levels, long walks. They need to have a guide if they can't simplify the access to room locations!! 2.No great choices for in-house dining and limited room service. 3. Problem with in-room high speed data connection - they need to fix it centrally 4. No free wireless for guests
Very kind staff at reception. Very quite for a city center hotel.
This is a huge hotel which may ask you to walk rather long distances to get to your room. The place is a bit old fashioned which we liked.
Location excellent. Very quiet.
Lack of free internet access. LAck of ventilation in bedrooms. All money had to be paid upon booking without any discount in case of cancellation. Breakfast far too expensive especially as all leisure facilities in hotel were free. Furniture in bedroom was somewhat shabby and only one cup supplied in double room. Bathroom shower gel and shampoo dispenser difficult to operate.
