Location is perfect. Easy to find when you arrive at the train station. Good value for money. Old hotel in need of refurbishing but still nice and clean. Friendly staff and exellent breakfast in a beautiful room with a style that you do not find in modern hotels.

The room was not heated till our arrival. So to make it warm it toock us 20 hours.The hotel is old and not clean. It needs urgent renovation!

Staff were friendly and helpful, hotel has nice pool area although the steam room was not functioning, and I was disappointed with this.

It did not have tea/coffee making facilities in room, which I found unusually for a hotel of this calibur , also bathroom was very dated.

Hotel decor itself is very tired and needs updating, I had damp in my room with paper peeling off the walls, dirt along the top of headboard, chipped tiles in bathroom.

Old hotel, urgently in need of renovation.

Basically the hotel has everything going for it, great location, wonderful old style, almost unique dining room, good staff, excellent kitchen but the hotel is in dire need of refurbishment / redecoration. Maritime seems to have forgotten this hotel which actually is one of its prize holdings. The street side entrance area is old and 'tatty', the entrance door is in very bad condition, the carpets (especially on the stairs and in the corridors and in the bedrooms are far too old and in many areas (e.g. stair well), actually devoid of pile on the step edges. Wake up Reichshof!, wake up Maritime!

Have stayed several times before. I like the old fashioned public rooms and style - dont change them . I was happy with the room although they are or can be noisy. The location is excellent and the staff very good . I like it although not to everyones's taste . The M&M Bar and its selection of Scotch is very cosy and must be retained , like the overall style of the restaurant

The corridors are tired and i dont like the outward facing bedroom doors on our floor . Bathrooms could do with a make over and if possible a top floor bar would have a great view over the city. The bistro is not very nice (althrough ther staff are) - feels out of period with the hotel and means the hotel has no real lounge bar , relaxing area - could be better
