The hotel is very well situated in Hamburg close to the Main train station. I attended a function in the hotel which was very well run and all the staff on duty were very helpful and polite.

The room that I stayed in had a old decor that needed to be modernised, it was a little stuffy when I entered the room.

Overla hotel was nice, liked the large hall and big chandlier and lighting and old decore

I dont like the split beds witha gap in between, I certainly do not like the very soft pillows which provided no support to the head and neck

Very difficult to get internet access

Location is perfect. Easy to find when you arrive at the train station. Good value for money. Old hotel in need of refurbishing but still nice and clean. Friendly staff and exellent breakfast in a beautiful room with a style that you do not find in modern hotels.

Have stayed several times before. I like the old fashioned public rooms and style - dont change them . I was happy with the room although they are or can be noisy. The location is excellent and the staff very good . I like it although not to everyones's taste . The M&M Bar and its selection of Scotch is very cosy and must be retained , like the overall style of the restaurant

The corridors are tired and i dont like the outward facing bedroom doors on our floor . Bathrooms could do with a make over and if possible a top floor bar would have a great view over the city. The bistro is not very nice (althrough ther staff are) - feels out of period with the hotel and means the hotel has no real lounge bar , relaxing area - could be better

Excellent location

The hotel is very old and not looked after. Bad lighting. General impression a bit cheerless.

Staff were friendly and helpful, hotel has nice pool area although the steam room was not functioning, and I was disappointed with this.

It did not have tea/coffee making facilities in room, which I found unusually for a hotel of this calibur , also bathroom was very dated.

Freindly & experienced staff

The hotel was fully booked. The "standard room" I was given was very small, totally worn out & dirty carpet. Not up to standard of a four star hotel. They assured me that if possible they would have given an upgrade.

Nice old time hotel, I liked the atmosphere, location opposite the main station, beautiful design, big room, big bathroom.

Expensive internet.

Bis auf das Zimmer hat uns alles gut gefallen

Das Zimmer war eine dunkle Kammer, total verwohnt, vergammelte Teppiche, im Spiegel über dem Schreibtisch konnte man sich nur sehen, wenn mann in die Hocke ging (vielleicht ein Spezialzimmer für Zwerge?). Ein derartiges Zimmer hätte ich niemals in einem Maritim Hotel erwartet.
