Nice, close to the center, people friendly, good breakfast, lot of space in the room

The helpfulness of both the evening receptionist and the morning and that on the New Year's weekend made a most welcoming impression. As a friendly and client-sensitive gesture, on the 1st of January coffee 'on the house' since I did not have the wish to take the large breakfast brunch. The staff is polite and professional providing tram tickets and calling a restaurant for table reservation without fuss or irritation.... One can walk to the sensational Grassi Museum, the Gewandhaus and Opera Haus, or as I, on early January 1st, to the Thomaskirche and Bach Museum, and the 'Gloria' Cafe in the Bach Museum where I had an excellent espresso and the owner's own Leipziger 'Lerche'...! A chain of Leipzig bakers and coffee shops, 'Lukas' was open as early as 7 a.m. with very good products for very cheap prices. A tip: the "Zunftkeller" near the hotel was excellent : I ate there twice on this weekend! Was recommended by the hotel: very good advice!

The hotel, as m a n y , could have better pillows. They do have southern visitors( Leipziger Messe) a bidet would be a good improvement .

The main problem with this hotel is locating it. The frontage to Gerichtstrasse still shows the former name, "Hotel Garni", with a small sign with the current name on the reverse frontage. We spent a considerable amount of time, at the end of a tiring day, driving round looking for the hotel. The main reason for choosing the hotel was the availability of parking. It was indeed available, but not secure, so we paid to park in a nearby secure underground car park.

Good location, good facilities, good value for money.

No WIFI internet on 6th floor, no cable internet as advertized.:Rooom was way over proced for Leipzig book fair.

War alles sehr Ordentlich und freundliche Bedienung.Preiss/Leistungsverhältnis ausgezeichnet.

Hat leider keinen eigenen Parkplatz sondern ein Parkzeile für alle Umwohnenden.Trotzdem ist es empfehlungswertmit eigenen Auto anzureisen.

De stad Leipzig is een heerlijke stad vanwege de prachtige gebouwen, vele restaurants, uitgaans mogelijkheden e.d. en voor mijn vrouw en mij zelf met name voor de cultuur (vooral klassieke muziek). Vele componisten hebben in Leipzig gewoond en gewerkt: Bach, Mendelssohn, Schumann, Wagner etc.). We hebben van het beroemde orkest van het Gewandhaus o.l.v. Kurt Masur en van bariton Mathias Goerne mogen genieten. Bovendien zijn de mensen in Leipzig vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamer van het hotel was ruim en netjes. Maar voor de nadelen: zie hieronder.

De nadelen: het hotel is niet makkelijk te vinden. Het hotel is ondergebracht in een oorspronkelijke flat met woningen. Wij kwamen in de avond aan maar duidelijke borden die aangaven waar we moesten zijn waren niet aanwezig. De aangeprezen balkon was niet schoon. Met uitzondering van het ontbijt kon het hotel kon nauwelijks faciliteiten bieden die wij in de vele hotels (ook die wij eerder in Leipzig hebben bezocht) gewend zijn: zoals bijv. een bar, restaurant etc. Bovendien is het hotel niet echt in het centrum gevestigd. Positief is wel dat wij de auto makkelijk en vrij konden parkeren.

Podobała mi się lokalizacja hotelu, 5 minut spacerem od centrum. Wygodny duży pokój, świetne łóżko. Znakomite śniadania. Obsługa nie zawsze mówiąca dobrym angielskim, ale bardzo życzliwa, chętna do pomocy i grzeczna.

Największą wadą Hotelu była trudność w znalezieniu go. Brak wyraźnego neonu, a jednej strony nawet neon z nazwą innego hotelu trochę wprowadzają w błąd. Po zmierzchu nie jest łatwo do niego trafić.

Gostei do tamanho do quarto e da cama

Não gostei dos funcionários, da localização, para mim ficou longe dos meus interesses, hotel antigo, com armários antigos, cabides e toalhas ruins, além da calefação e ar quente do quarto não funcionarem (inverno) e café da manhã também não era muito bom. Só foi reservado na época porque não consegui opições melhores. Informava que ficava mais ou menos 1.800 m da estaçaõ principal e era bem mais longe.
