Almost nothing except for the staff but also not all of them. I find the room way to expensive for what it offers considering the fact that the room was extremely poor in terms of maintenance and not that close to the city center. I guess is mainly about the spa amenities and nothing else. The breakfast poor but fair for the price. The staff was very nice and polite but with some exceptions where it was completely the opposite.

Location, SPA center Bathroom is so small, butter and fresh cheese for breakfast are out of shelf life, no water for drink in SPA center

The spa was really good and we ended up spending pretty much the whole time in the hotel! I'll have to visit Cologne again! People are not allowed to wear anything (but a towel) in the saunas.

The spa was really nice, a wide diversity of saunas and jaccuzzis, with very long opening hours. There are sauna sessions organised by the staff every hour, which allows to experience a differente kind of sauna (antique, japananese, etc). Breakfast was very nice as well, and rather cheap considering that the buffet offer was fairly good. While the room was clean and the furniture OK, it doesn't deserve to be rated as a 4 stars: there was no amenities in the bathroom, and not even tea/coffee facilities in the bedroom, which we found really disappointed for the standard of the hotel. Besides, we had to rent a "spa package" as there were no bathrobes in the room, while we had chosen the best room available, so we wonder what was the value of the deluxe room as there was no extra service compare to a basic room.

Wonderful spa, mostly friendly and helpful staff, comfortable, clean room. Spent three days wearing only a bathrobe. Perfect. Could be so much better. While most of the staff were terrific, there were several who were downright hostile. The place has quirks, including charging hotel guests a fee to rent a towel, bathrobe and slippers. As I was spending four days and three nights at the spa, had hoped to schedule a massage, however was disappointed to learn at check-in that all available appointments had been booked. There was also major road construction taking place a few feet away just outside my first floor window each morning at 7:00 am. Would I return to the spa? Yes. The hotel? Maybe.

This hotel literally has it all. Bar, restaurant, spa, and location is about a 6-9 minute walk to the shopping district. The hotel staff was more than helpful with any question or request I had. There are some comments about the inconvenience of parking. The parking structure was a 2-3 minute walk from the hotel on a well-lit, very safe road. This hotel is a MUST!

the hotel is located a few meters from the railway station and spa therme is under so basicaly very practilce the food is cheap comparing to other places and it is very clean hotel and well managed with very few staff..even no door valet ..to take luggages..so all is self service..

It was an adequate hotel, providing a bed and shower. Despite booking a room in the main hotel, I was given an "apartment" that required me to walk around the outside of the building with my luggage to reach it -- given the poor weather in Cologne at the moment, this wasn't particularly enjoyable. The apartment building itself was poorly presented and the corridors reminded me of those found in uk council flats. The apartment itself was ok, but really just a marginally larger room -- not really worth calling an apartment at all. The location of the hotel was poor for me, but due to a conference at Koelnmesse I didn't have much choice. The hotel was overpriced in my opinion.

Nice spa, good location, right in the city, tasteful interior design Screaming children in spa, drilling noise all day (they are refurbishing the hotel I guess), no free wifi, room prices a bit too high for the standard - at least for single rooms

Staff is working very hard, still very friendly & ready to help where & when possible. Very well situated hotel with excellent spa facitilities. Ideal combi of spa & restaurant which is very convenient, with good food. Location is ideal for visiting the shops & going out. The spa is ideal for adults, but less for children since the facitlities are more visited by people looking for calm & rest. It's a pity that there are no soaps, scrubs or body lotions available in the showers or sauna area - you have to bring your own. There are no rooms with connecting doors available - ok for older children.

Excellent spa facilities and the hotel has been updated since my last visit five years ago. I wish the swimming pool opened earlier in the morning.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and were quick to set up an extra bed in our room. The hotel was well located to visit some of the christmas markets, and was 2 stops on the tram to the center. Breakfast buffet was quite good. The shower leaked when I used it but apparently I didn't close the door properly. There was also no soap in the dispenser in the shower, which was kind of awkward once I was in the shower and the bathroom was flooding. Didn't like the fact that we didn't have the time to use the spa facilities..

Spa is very nice, with a number of offerings Hotel itself is worn and in need of remodeling and revitalizing. Bathrooms are very small. Tv did not work.

Room was very spacious and comfortable. Area and hotel itself was quiet and relaxed. One minor gripe was that you had to hire slippers if you wanted to use the pool. Clean, comfortable and stylish facilities and the staff were all extremely helpful. Conveniently located for my business venue. Good restaurant. I loved the spa facilities which were excellent - especially the outdoor hot pool. I would definitely recommend it. The standard single room was a little disappointing compared to the twin rooms which were very spacious. I would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in my room.

I wanted a private space and they put me in the boading house - sounds bad but it is a nice area and my room was big and well appointed.Breakfast was good value. I am a business travellr and wish hotels would offer free internet. It is a selling point for any hotel. I reckon they would be full if it was offered. This hotel offered only a paid service.

Some of the staff were excellent and helpful some not so good. There was a mix up when we arrived; the receptionist told us only one room had been booked, not two, but this was quickly rectified. We did not have rooms but had apartments and this was unexpected. Although the apartments were very nice, the instructions on how to get there were not clear and we had to return to the hotel for further instructions. I would have prefered to stay inside the building and not have to walk outside to the apartments or at least to have a member of staff to direct us there. The apartment smelt of tobacco and I asked for a non smoking room. There was no kettle in the room.
