Mauritius Hotel & Therme    

The spa is really nice and you can have a great relax time there. The location is good too: walking for 10 minutes you can reach the center, and in 5 minutes from the hotel you are in a nice area for restaurants and night life.

This is an amazing place to relax for a few days. The rooms are nice, I would even say to nice for a place where you will go mostly just to sleep, because you'll spend most of the time in the SPA - between the pools, the few hot tubs and several saunas you can always rest around the pools or have some food in the restaurant. And, if you really want to see the city, the Hotel is close enough to transports, not far from the main shopping streets and even to the Cathedral and the Main train station (Köln Hbf) it's less 30 minutes walking. The city is nice but not worth a second visit - but I'm going back for the SPA.

The only bad thing is that I didn't stay for longer.

The room (suite) was comfortable and clean. The spa facilities were convenient, well maintained and quite adequate. Extra charges for wifi, meals (breakfast) and spa robes etc. were relatively good value.

The reception staff were generally inattentive and unhelpful. We used the hotel's recommended parking garage but the hotel staff failed to mention that we could get a discounted rate if we paid at the reception.

Rooms had a very basic setup for the hotel's star rating. Wasn't easy to find my room after checking-in, staff weren't very helpful with this process

We come here frequently. All facilities are excellent.

Being sent to a twin room when a room with a double bed was specifically requested.

The employees in this hotel are always ready to help, whatever you need. The room is big and confortable, and the cleaning is very good. The localization is perfect, and the wellness if you dont care about to se the nude guest is also very good.

Great central location - Tram stops 2 minutes from front door - only 4 stops to the Messe Exhibition centre and 2 stops to the Altstadt. Staff were friendly, with good English and very helpful. Very good breakfast - selection & quality.

Slight inconvenience that apartments are accessed by separate entrance at rear of building - not a big issue!

I think it is too expensive for what it is. Wifi, breakfast, bathrobe, slippers were all charged extra, at that price should be included in room price. Water very expensive to buy.

It would have been nice, like in Finland (home of sauna) also to have the possibility to have a sauna in the morning before breakfast. I understand that the spa only opens at 0900.
