|This comfortably furnished, well-equipped holiday apartment is located in Lörrach, just 300 metres from the Swiss border, and can accommodate up to 2 adults and a small child.|
The location is good (many shops and retaurants around, close to Basel by tramway 8
Construction work in the house - we could not use the lift to 5th floor - only till 4th. extremly tobacco smell in the room - we ordered a non-smoking room!
very close to the airport , and it was above the mall very clean room
the wifi wasn t working properly
Very good position near Basel and a mall at a reasonable price. Rooms are quite comfortable and we had no problem of noise. Breakfast was very good, free parking in the hotel.
The hotel is being renovated and we had some issues with elevators and works, not all the floors are easily reachable, hope they end soon.
Location, staff. The breakfast was also good.
The hotel is under renovation, so we had to walk throught the construction site to get to our room. It felt like we were the only people in that block. The outside door was not locked, so I had some concers regarding the security. The room we got given was a smoking room, and had an unpleasan odour. Overall, for the price we paid, I think the quality of the hotel in the current state was poor.
Nice staff clean hotel even though they had major building works going on. (no noise from it).
A lot of traffic at night bit of a weird layout of the hotel.. it feels a bit like a maze with different entrances and exits (some both others only exit)
Position for the airport. Mall at ridicolously close distance. Good price/quality
Tricky elevator system for reaching it.
Low cost, 24hr reception, free parking. Have stayed here before, so knew what I didn't like and could use this to judge value of price I booked at.
Layout of hotel - long walk and slow lift to reception and breakfast. Another slow lift and long walk to parking. Double bed really two singles.
City to the boarder of three countries
very poor environment in the city and location
Free, secure parking as part of the shopping centre. Good breakfast for 5 euros . Area not particularly nice but interesting to be able to walk to france and switzerland within 100 metres each way . Rooms large with fridge and satellite TV . Very good to be able to use the adjoining gym , well equipped .
No wifi signal beyond the reception area . The hotel is spread across the top of the shopping centre , so unless you get a room by reception you have no chance . Also asked for a double room and got a twin . The lift was not working. When mentioned the lift/wifi , got no response .
Free parking, decent rates.
Very hot room, no air conditioning We booked a quadruple room but the fourth bed was a lousy sofa bed Hotel in the middle of an office building, very unfriendly and cold
German prices - value for money Incrediable breakfast nice location next to the border & bridge
The free parking was hard to find
The town of 3 countries connection
We were sleeping at the hotel just one night so we cant really judge the hotel, but it was great for us. Thank you
Threre is no way to hit water in the kitchen
The night we arrived was very hot. Room was very small for two people which made the room very stuffy. There was no air conditioning to keep the air moving.
Dennis in reception was terrific.
Strong Cigarret odor in non smoking room Strong machine sound near the bed head
The beds were very comfortable and there was no noise at all in the room. There was a small kitchen (but no plates, spoon, knife or fork, though). The breakfast was a real value for money (5€/person). It was worth a 4* and they didn't have us pay for the 6-years old child.
While we were on the way, the hotel called us in order to know at what time we intended to arrive. We had given our credit card data as a guarantee through Booking.com, so we didn't understand why they did so. Talking to the receptionist, we understood that the manager wanted to re-sell our room ! We just don't get the point in doing so, but to avoid customers to come back in this hotel. The walls in the room were filthy and the carpet was quite smelly, we had to sleep with open windows. It was very hot in the room (not outside, though); I wouldn't stay in this hotel on a hot summer night.
The noise of window shutters in the mornings in all the rooms
At €5 breakfast was good value. Close proximity to Swiss border.
It is very difficult to find this hotel. You have to enter a shopping mall, park your car on one of the floors then go back to the ground floor to look for the entrance to the hotel. You then have to take an internal lift to the reception on the 6th floor. The photograph on websites is very misleading. On the righthand side the photo is of the shopping mall and on the lefthand side is a Chinese restaurant in the park adjacent to the mall. This an approximate representation of the location of the hotel but not at all what it looks like. Our room was a long walk from the reception area and there was scaffolding outside our window on which men were working in the morning. There is a kitchen area in the room/apartment but not a single utensil so a bit of a waste of space really.
staff is very nice, 24 hours reception breakfast is very nice and location is ideal to experience three countries plus there is kitchen
The staff was very friendly, spoke perfect English and was very helpful. The room (705) was HUGE and had a small kichten. Everything was spotlessly clean and the kids loved the soap/shampoo.
No a/c? Really? It's 2014.
Price worth, location, kindness
Breakfast room too small (too many chairs in narrow space)
Vibrant town. Hotel in the middle of the action.
Parking was confusing. Free parking in multi-storey car park
