There were actually two rooms plus the bathroom. A large living room/kitchenette (with table and chairs) and a smaller separate bedroom. The kitchenette is useful if you want to prepare simple meals such as breakfast or lunch or simply keep your beverages cold. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the nearest subway and an 8 minute walk to a major subway/tram/bus hub. The walk to the old town square is about 20 minutes (approximately 1 mile). The restaurant was ok but not great. The hotel was good value at 75 euro (without breakfast). As an unexpected extra, there were two complimentary beers and water in the mini fridge. Traffic noise may be a problem if you are a light sleeper and the only tv is in the living room. |

This hotel was within blocks of the walled in old town. About a 10 minute walk to the Christmas market. Parking was available under the hotel and was gated. Staff was very nice! We booked the Christmas package and our room had a kitchen, sitting area and the bed was in a loft with 2 balconies. |

Quality of the room was exceptional. We were given a mini suite. It proved exceptional value for money. Reception staff were friendly ,helpful and English speaking. A great three day stay and we would go back and may do so in the next six months. Well don the Derag & Maximillian Breakfast seemed expensive for a buffet so we eat in the town at better value but it looked good and plenty of other gusets were taking it. |

Our booking had been cancelled by the hotel without any prior information. We got there at 10p.M. just to find out that the hotel management had cancelled our booking and reserved our two rooms for other clients, allowing us to stay in Maximilian Hotel just for the first night and not for the 3 nights we had booked!!!! The staff helped us find another hotel but during a full schedule we had to unpack and pack our luggage twice in three days plus the additional cost of the second hotel, since there we paid a "walk-in" price. It could have been an excellent stay if our reservation had not been cancelled without letting us know!!!! |

The breakfast, which was included in the price, was amazing. There was a balcony just outside the room for smokers. There was secure parking )although this came at an extra charge. We could have done with more pillows. |

We loved the size of our room- it was much larger than we expected and it had a great kitchen. The bed was comfortable, the water and beer was a nice touch, and breakfast tasted good. I loved our room, but it smelled funny and it wasn't that pleasant to be in there because of this problem. Also, breakfast was too expensive. I would recommend the hotel, but not to friends who don't want their room to smell smoky. I would not recommend the hotel without mentioning that. |

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, lovely room with terrace at back, very clean, close to the city, about two blocks, secure parking, comfortable bed, quiet, great value for money. Would stay again and recommend to friends. |

There is nothing bad to say about the hotel. Everything was simply great, lots of small and nice surprises in the room. Two bottles of beer and two of water for free in the fridge. Jelly beans on the pillow waiting for us... Kitchinette, balcony, less than 10 minutes from the Altstadt (old city). Underground parking available. |

The breakfast was excellent and the staff really nice and helpful. Also, the room was simple and functional... ...however, the old cigarette smoke in the non-smoke room wasn't keeping us in our room and the one-time visit in the cold sauna (though had been "heated") didn't make us to "enjoy" the sauna more often. |

The hotel was centrally located and the breakfast was good. The rooms were claustrophoebic and inconvenient, and this was not a 4 star hotel as the booking agent on the phone led us to believe. |
