New, clean, cheerful, pay phone and computer with reasonable fees in hall(failed to connect with time left-reported it in AM & wasn't fixed by the next AM). The location was close to the airport (taxi less than 5 euros) and a few blocks from subway station; nice ice cream shop within walking distance one direction and excellent Chinese restaurant the other). The window had to be open because the weather was unusually warm and no A/C; lots of street traffic noise and planes coming in very low and right overhead. Good windows blocked a lot of noise, but too uncomfortable to close them. |

excellent location (very close to both airport and a U-Bahn station), friendly staff, clean rooms. besides, even if the wifi internet is normally accessed through a paid connection, you can easily find at least two open networks around. I would also like to mention the nice "beer garden" on the short way from U-Bahn station to the hotel: a nice place to have a kolsch. the wake-up call given by the sound of airplanes in the morning :)) |

Everything easy and uncomplicated The reception closes at 22 hours. We use the hotel for overnight stay before flying out of Hamburg. It would therefore be a great advantage if it was possible to contact the hotel directly via e-main and arrange a later arrival and pick-up of key at e.g. the partner hotel "Kocks Hotel" It appears that this possibility exists - but it is not stated at the web site. |
