This hotel is situated in Berlin's Prenzlauer Berg district. It offers free Wi-Fi internet in the lobby, a free walking tour of the center of the city and free use of the safe and baggage room. The location is excellent - a funky district, many attractions for young people: bars, cafes, the Berlin's famous flea market - all what you need for your vibrant German holiday!! The rooms are clean and cozy with giant windows and unbelievable view on Fernseheturm and Schoenhauser Allee. The staff is helpful and friendly, the breakfast is delightful and full. So, it's a great place to stay in German capital. Highly recommended. I met a silverfish in the bathroom, I really didn't like it, but I understand that one may meet them in old buildings)

I liked the cleanliness of the rooms. They wre also very comfortable and modern There was a very large group of school children that seemed to occupy the entire hotel leaving nowhere for other travellers but their rooms

The bed was super comfy and the hotel was nice and warm. I was on a weekend away therefore I wanted to sleep in over the four days of my stay, the cleaner tried to come inside my room each day around 10am, I was still sleeping and told her to come back later. She never did come back so my room wasn't cleaned at all over my stay. Also when they were cleaning the rooms they were very loud and very early in the morning, they really didn't care about people sleeping.

Bunk beds, no towels in The room, no fixed haidryer...i was Not aware that this hotel is actually a Youth hostel. While you are on a Business Travel this does Not fit. If you are looking for a cheap, clean place right in The city and you are still in School or studying this is a fair place.

Great location and price, friendly staff, easy access to everything. The breakfast was 4 Euros a day for all you can eat which is an excellent value. No charge for internet. Overall a great value for a nice place in Berlin. It's probably not a good idea to stay on weekends. There were many teenagers who by nature are noisy and don't seem to ever need sleep at night. If you would like to rest, then don't stay on a weekend. In the mornings they all crowded around the breakfast area and all wanted to speak at the same time. Probably fine during weekdays when they are in school. Also the rooms, at least ours had two sets of bunk beds which made it a bit crowded.

Good price, clean, very good location (right in front of metro station). Free internet in the hall. Breakfast non included, but you can buy it separately at a reasonable price.

The Room was just perfect in size, we had place to keep our luggage, shelves to keep clothes, study table, clean its a good hotel and excellent location, metro station is across the road. Nothing to complain. I would go there again.

The location was great : was near kollwitzplatz and kastanaille, 15 minutes of walf for alex. Rooms were very clean. The staff was kind. I am very happy to stay at meininger.

The location of the hotel is really perfect. It is just two stops away from Alexanderplatz (city center). The staff is very friendly. I think it is not a hotel as it is written in booking.com but just a hostel, the rooms are so simple, if you are in the room just for sleeping, than it is enough. Breakfast is also poor, there are not air condition and hair dryer in the room. The rooms are not very clean.

Good plain room, O.K. breakfast. Internet allowed us to check which parts of our home city were on fire while we enjoyed our Berlin holiday. Good locations - walking distance or U-Bahn to Alex Platz but also good area for eating out, behind hotel. No problem with noise while we were there.

The location in Prenzlauer Berg was fantastic, couldn't get a more ideal location. The beds in the hostel were like bricks, I couldn't get a good night sleep. And worst yet the door to the room would shake every time someone else's door closed or there was a wind gust, making sleeping impossible. I wouldn't stay here again, there are plenty of other options in the area.

Location was great. The metro u2 was right next to the hotel. The beds were not comfortable. We asked for a double bed and got two single beds put together. The madrasses were hard and uncomfortable.
