This 4-star hotel in central Saarbrücken offers modern rooms and a restaurant with terrace. It is next to the convention center and the Saar River, a 5 minute walk from Saarbrücken Main train station. All rooms at the Mercure Hotel Saarbrücken City are soundproofed and include air conditioning, a minibar and satellite TV. The Schlemmerie restaurant at the Mercure Saarbrücken serves German and international meals. Snacks and drinks are available in the hotel bar in the evenings. The Mercure Saarbrücken city has a private parking lot, and is very close to an exit off highway A620. Ludwigskirche church and Saarbrücken Castle are a 10 minute walk away. Located just off a6, and really easy to walk out and then go to shops, pubs/clubs and restaurants. I was here on Business , so was great to get out after work and walk around main shopping street (similar to Sauchiehall Street Glasgow, but without the neds). Building a Primark, and all typical western european clothes shops. Very Minor, but garage is small (tighter than a Scotsman)and only allows a few cars to be parked, tight parking if you do get a space, so make sure you practise your parking technique.

Be careful about which type of room you book. Standards do not have basic tea making facilities. I would expect this in even the cheapest hotel anywhere in the world.

Quiet, comfortable, clean. Staff helpful and spoke English. The website had said ample parking in the hotel but we were placed in a car park 500m away.

we have stayed there before on more than one occasion, the closeness to the shops and our friends is excellent. This was the first time that we felt the cleanliness of the room was not up to your normal standard, one day the beds were made, but the bathroom was not cleaned properly, nor the trash emptied. But we would return again sometime in the future, your front desk staff, as always, were very helptful and polite. Lesley El Gammal

staff at the reception very friendly and helpfull there was still hanging a used towel over the shower the day of my arrival and empty cans were left after the room was cleaned the second day

Reception staff is very motivated to help you with whatever you need. Like in almost every hotel of every brand, setting the personal ideal temperature in the room is difficult, mostly too hot for me...

Nice rooms, excellent breakfast, good service in the restaurant! The sopped the room servíce already at 10:30 pm and I arrived after 11 so there was no food available at the hotel.

Bien placé en Centre ville, seul bémole mais pas un souci grave parking petit pour la capacité de l'hotel si vous arrivez tard c'est cuit , rien de grave nous avons réussi a y être.
