The location of the hotel was ideal for the city centre. We visited the Christmas markets which were only five minutes walk from the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful, if not too imaginative and the staff were very helpful. Could be a bit noisy with the trains/trams next to the hotel. Rooms were fairly basic but serviceable. |

The staff were very pleasent and welcoming on arrival.The room was very spacious,clean, comfortable and the temperture was perfect at all times. Nice view out looking over to the railway station. Didn't have breakfast at the hotel as 17 euros is quite a lot to pay if you have a small appetite. |

Hotel is centrally located right by the main railway station. Note it is not near the old town. Basic hotel but everything works, good buffet breakfast. Only negative point for me was the proximity of my room to the lift shaft, elevators were noisy ! Ideal for a business trip or a staging point for a rail journey Difficult to access by car as in a part pedestrian zone |

The room was clean and spacious with hot water.The reception staff were excellent. The room was not ready at 4.30 we had to wait.There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.The breafast was good but there was no hot food left at 9.00AM and they would not cook any more. |

Reception staff were very helpfull and always there ready to answer any question I had to ask for delayed departure as my plane was leaving in the evening and were charged full night's fee for it? The room was obviously free and proportional charge for it would have been a nice consideration, but the attitude was "you take it or leave it!" |

The hotel was very close to the train station and convenient for tram travel throughout the city. Staff were helpful when necessary, but unobtrusive otherwise. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been an improvement. |

I quite enjoyed my stay at the Mercure Hotel Columbus Bremen, the hotel was in good location, almost at the heart of the city. Everything went fine. The fact that breakfast was not included in the room price. |

A group of us stayed for a cycling week. We had no problem storing the bikes in the hotel, the cycle hire shop was 50 metres away as was the station. This made it a superb hotel if you want to see Bremen and the region by bike. |
