A very comfortable modern hotel -- very easy to spot as it's 17 stories tall with the name prominantly displayed on the top! Just a short walk from the railway station, with tram and bus stops directly opposite (and the film museum). Excelent breakfast complete with fresh fruit, lovely fresh breads and hot dishes too. Rather a long way from the city centre, the hotel is marooned on a busy intersection with nothing in the way of shops or restraurants nearby.

Perfect location near local transportation and the train station connecting Potsdam to Berlin,very clean,good bathroom!quiet hotel room!i recommend it to anyone!I Would stay again! A bit small room but really not a big problem!Internet free but need to sign up to hotel's member club!

Modern functional rooms, non-smoking. The room is quite small, the bathroom really tiny - not suitable for a big person. Not really sound-proof.

The hotel was visible from the station and within only 5 minute walk. The room was clean and functional. It would be better to have tea/coffee set in the room. I asked for a water boiler, but the person at the front desk said that one was on lease to someone, and the other was broken. Internet fee of 9 euros for 24 hours was expensive.

Quiet in the hotel, peaceful lake/riverside location yet so close to the town. Excellent restaurant. General ambience and quality of interior furnishing. Helpfulness of staff. The design of the building from the outside - lacks character.

The loctation The hotel room was small. Although it seems pretty new, the quality of the materials used (in particular in the bathroom) was poor and will deteriorate very quickly with time.

Good location and very competative rate. Decoration and furnishings a bit shaby and tired, especially the carpets in the rooms which were badly stained. Rooms a bit small and could have been cleaner.

Good location, helpful staff, comfortable room. This was our first use of any Mercure hotel. We'll consider them again in future. Parking was cramped. We had serious difficulty getting out of one of the few spaces provided. I did not mind the fee but the parking facility was poor.

Special offer. 2 nights for 75€ is a good price. That is why I have chosen it. Plus the easy to reach location. It is visable from the train station Internet is not included in the price of the room. And there was a smell of old water in the bathroom. Other that that it was very nice.

The Mercure has an excellent central location with a good parking area.It was easy to drive to the locations of historic interest which all have adequate car parking facilities (in June) Potsdam has fabulous palaces and gardens which have been lovingly restored to their former glory.Very good value on the no cancellation booking arrangement. The kerb near the hotel front door which I did not notice and had a heavy fall

This hotel is located in the center of Potsdam city, so very convenient to access also go to sight seeing. Hotel facility is clean and maintenance for room is good, also hotel staffs are kind and friendly.
