Ive stayed there half dozen times so far but will carry on staying there in future as its one of the friendly hotels ive stayed in and ive stayed in hundreds. The staff are so helpfull and friendly and the food is excellent the rooms are always spotless.the only down fall is having to pay for wifi ive never had to do this in any other hotel that ive stayed in apart from that 10/10
Just the fact having to pay for wifi .i think most hotels its free
Nice and central Good comfort Good price
The breakfast was good, but price is very high
Food and staff and rooms are very clean and a good size
Clean, comfortable, convenient, quiet, excellent breakfast, attentive staff.
NO FREE WIFI!! This was the only letdown.
No wifi included in the room fee; this is unacceptable for a hotel of this category today. Also breakfast very expensive.
Breakfast is very good.
There is only paid wifi and 1 day 12.5 euro. Its very expensive.
- good location, close to station and city with nice view; - cleaning of room was good and people flexible; - having a food allergy was no problem (only have had dinners but these were fine). - wifi was ok; not fast but fast enough (using 24H-cards is a bit of a hassle though).
- room i paid for turned out to be behind the elevators and too noisy to sleep; replacement room was cheaper but i did not get a discount; - there's a disco next door on saturdays; it's loud (earplugs didn't help; felt the music; kept me awake until 4 in the morning despite staying on 14th floor). - computerfacilities in lobby are poor (non-standard with restricted tools) - staff advised to get a(n expensive) taxi to go into berlin during the railway-strike; they insisted that there were no trains or s-bahn even though i had found otherwise on the respective sites (they couldn't find this info even when pointed to). the info i had found was simply correct. - i extended my stay by three days upon which wifi turned out to be way too expensive (15 euro per day or something; in any case the price was not related to the costs).
Nice and comfortable room, and good breakfast.
you have to pay for wifi for already quite expensive hotel.
Close to the station and has a view. I only dealt with one member of staff in reception but she was very helpful (thank you Frau Wagner!). The room was clean and well appointed - even had a kettle, tea and coffee.
Next to a fairground so Disco music, all day till late, disturbing even on 12th floor. No free wi fi at all. No CNN, BBC World or Sky News. Breakfast good but expensive.
Great location and informative staff. Great breakfast
Rooms are very small
There was a very nasty smell coming out of the bathroom we believe was coming out the shower drain
A 5 minute walk to the haupbahnhof. Refrigerator in room.
High cost for what the room was. A 4:45am wake-up call when I asked for one at 4:00am (had to leave for TXL by 4:50; fortunately, I also set an alarm on my phone). Charging for internet (connection was slow). No face cloths (wash cloths).
Stunning views over Potsdam. Great location in the heart of the township, made it easy to get around without the hassle of public transport. Staff spoke English very well and were quite helpful.
Rooms were quite small and the airconditioning wasn't as good as it could of been. Could of had real milk in the fridge.
Central location Friendly staff My room was next to the lift but I was not disturbed by the noise
Expensive for what you get WiFi not included in price and costs €12,50 for 24 hrs - these days this is a stupidly high price
Looked a bit tired, needs a refurb
On the 3rd floor there was a lot of smell of cigarettes. I had requested a room for non smoking.
Dutch quarter close by Walking distance to Hbf Beautiful architecture
Breakfast was too expensive...buy breakfast at the Hbf if traveling. Rooms were small...adequate for single person, but too small to share.
Staff were nice and the place had a good bar.
You have to pay some ridiculous amount for Wifi for 24 hrs.
very small room 12E/day for wi-fi 16E/day for breakfast
Front desk staff unfriendly, not help at all. Small parking, no chance to find space.
Welcome drinks. Good parking.
Breakfast was really good (not included, pay extra). Location is great. Just a minute walk to the Main Station and 5 mins walk to Branderburg Street. Very clean and comfortable.
The AC didn´t cool our room properly. It is a little bit pricy, for what the hotel really is. There is no free WIFi (big Boo!), also the Breakfast was not included in the price.
Water temperature in a shower changes from cool to very hot (and vice versa) without touching a tap. An air-conditioner could not be switched off from the gadget in the room. There is no door separating a sink from a sleeping part of the room. On the only night we stayed in the hotel we washed our hair with conditioning shampoo provided by the hotel. It caused strong irritation of our eyes and even some other body tissues. We have stayed probably in hundreds hotels over the years and never experienced such strong irritation from a shampoo. We complained to the reception. They apologizied and said that there had been no complaints before on this matter. Then, we suggested to the manager-on-duty to come to our room and to try this conditioning shampoo herself if she doubted. She refused. It is hard to say what the long-term effect of this irritation will be on our eyes.
in the process of improving the servicess, kill the cook first of all (or, at least, fire him immediately)
