The staff was very helpful and friendly, the rooms very clean, good breakfast.Close to Friedrischstr., an upscale shopping street and a nice Christmas market on Gendarmerplass. Not far from major sites. This is not an area for more alternative small shops or bars, rather more proper and "grown up". |

Room size enormous, staff very helpful. The rooms were a little hard to access... had to go out on the street and into another building. The numbering system on the elevator was strange. (Floor 3 had 200 numbers and so on). Other members of my party had trouble with this too. |

Location was excellent - very central, close to U-bahn station. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had an upgraded room, very spacious and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. |

Very convenient for sightseeing. Very helpful staff. We missed not having facilities to make our own tea and coffee in the room. This would have been preferable to a minibar.Full breakfast was the most expensive I have ever seen at a hotel anywhere. We pre-paid for the room but there was no refund for Katherine who in the end was unable to visit. |

Mercure Hotel Berlin, was conveniently located, close to some of the main features of Berlin, including the "East". Our room was excellent, large, and clean. The staff were also excellent, friendly, and helpful. |

Huge room with balcony in a very central location, couldn't fault it. The staff were very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast at 16 Euros each was far too expensive, especially as there are many cafes close to the hotel. |

The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. Our room was spacious with a large bathroom. We also had a balcony which was a nice suprise bonus. The location was good - just along the road from Checkpoint Charlie and the Brandenburg Gate and Reichstag are both walkable. The area around the hotel goes quiet in the evening but this means a trip on the underground to have any real choice of places to eat. |

Excellent location, good hotel and superfriendly staff. It's relax and comfortable. We had a fantastic room with balcony (there's a quiet courtyard) and enjoyed our breakfast. |

Free Internet Access in Lobby, professional and friendly staff. One minor issue arose during our stay and it was dealt with quickly and satisfactorily. Room was big, clean and comfortable. Hotel is very central. Have stayed there a number of times previously and standard is consistently high. |
