The location was great. Just a 5 minute walk from the train station, it was also close to some good bars and shopping. Also was right next to the Kampstrasse underground station, perfect for getting to the Signal Iduna Park to cheer on the Borussia Dortmund lads! Also had a nice little bar near the reception, perfect for a pre night apperatif (or a post night one!) The layout of the hotel was a little strange, the reception was on the 3rd floor and there were no stairs, not sure what the escape route would be if there was a fire. Also had issues with the lift, a couple of times we spent about 5 minutes in it going up and down before we could get off at our floor.

Location is great, close to the shops and the Hauptbahnof, I particulary like the vintage tram outside that now serves as a little bar/cafe. The room was very clean and modern and nice to have the tea and coffee making facility which is not so common. As I fly quite often from Dortmund I've stayed in a few of the hotels in the locality and the Mercure while not the grandest or trendiest suits myself best.

Location in the city Very bad for people with car and luggage. Car park is far away. Several lifts in different building need to be taken. Hotel is not offering any help with luggage. Information given for other things rather poor.

Very central ! The room was spotless and had tea and coffee facilities. Beds were very comfy and the room and bathroom were in perfect condition. The hotel is on the 3rd floor of a building so don't expect a big main entrance.You need to take a lift from street level up to reception. That said it was very safe.

Die Lage zum Bahnhof und zu den Einkaufsstrassen. Beim Einchecken sollte ich ein Formular mit meinen Daten ausfuellen, weil sie von meinem letzten Aufenthalt 2009 nicht mehr gespeichert waren. 1 Tag spaeter bekam ich dann die Mitteilung, ich sei jetzt Mitglied von "Le Club Arcor". Ich habe zwar die E-Mail nicht bestaetigt, aber dies ist irrefuehrend, denn ich wurde nicht darauf hingewiesen. Ich habe das Hotel gebucht, u.a. weil es Zimmer mit Minibar anbietet. Jetzt sind die Kuehlschraenke abgeschlossen. Wer was trinken will, muss zur Rezeption, sei es um Mitternacht. An der Rezeption kann man sich dann ewig anstellen, denn das Hotel war ausgebucht. (wegen Lagerung von Medikamenten moechte ich immer einen Kuehlschrank auf dem Zimmer haben, man sollte dies wenigstens aus dem Internet nehmen. Ich habe jetzt denselben Preis alleine bezahlt wie vor 4 Jahren mit meinem Mann. Vor 4 Jahren hatten wir ein Fruehstueck, das kann man jetzt nur noch fuer 16 Euro pro Person mit dazubuchen.

Ik heb dit hotel geboekt omdat het in centrum zit en op loopafstand is van het station. Het is een hotel met de nadruk op een zakelijk verblijf en alles was keurig verzorgd. Vriendelijk personeel, een goede kamer en een uitgebreid onbijt. Het ontbijt is vrij prijzig en in het weekend is er 's nachts redelijk veel geluidsoverlast van jongeren die uitgaan in de straat, waardoor je het raam dicht moet houden.

Eine tolle Lage mitten im Zentrum, dennoch erstaunlich ruhig! Saubere, gemütliche Zimmer war sehr sehr positiv überrascht und begeistert, werde zukünftig gerne wieder buchen, wenn ich in Dortmund bin!
