If you wanna go to Dresden for pleasure, then I recommend this hotel.
Everything was excellent, nice room, clean, quite, in good location to see Dresden center by foot.
There was nothing what we didn't like. Maybe rooms are nit very spacy, but that is no big issue.
Convenient, comfortable, clean and all round superb
Having to leave
Great location, a few min walking distance from the train station. Several shops and restaurants nearby.
No free wifi, with the charge is very expensive. Small room. No kettle in the room.
Don't know what caused mistake. I booked room under condition for 2 adults with 1 child of 12 year old. Available hotels indicated Pullman. All hotels during my trip arranged extra bed for my child, but during check-in I was told extra bed was not mentioned in the system and not available.
quality facilities, restaurant, staff, location vis-a-vis the train station.
The room looked cool and extraordinary, especially shower and panoramic windows.
I didn't like that they charge money for wifi, and internet in business center was given just for 17 minutes. Also the second sauna didn't work.
Nice shower, good view, plenty of room
No free wifi, that's ridicilous
Clean, spacious rooms. Good quality bathroom fittings with large shower area. Nice view over the city from the room. Wide choice of food for breakfast. Well stocked bar offering a large choice of reasonably priced drinks.
No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Cooked breakfast could have been hotter.
Location, staff and cleanliness
Rooms a little tight and pillows not firm
Close to railway station and historic tourist attractions. Friendly staff, great rooms, good breakfast
No free wifi in rooms. Individual 15 min sessions of free internet access available after obtaining a code for each session from reception and then only using the hotel's 3 Apple desk top computers. Very inconvenient especially for guests not familiar with Apple Macs or foreign keyboards. Paid wi fi available for €3.50 for an hour, or a higher rate for 24 hours.
Location is superb, only a short walk from the main train station, located effectively on a pedestrian mall. A short walk through to the old town and major sights of Dresden. Room was clean, roomy and well appointed.
Ridiculous cost for wifi access.
The room is quite spacious, well decorated and cozy. A whole wall is just glass looking out to the Wiener Platz. The beds are large and clean, the same goes for the toilet and the shower. I especially liked it that you can switch the water to pour from the ceiling. The room is quiet and can be dimmed with the thick curtains. The breakfast was a delight indeed, it's 19 EUR per person but they have practically everything you could ask for. They also have some kind of a wellness centre and even a sauna in the hotel, but we didn't get the time to experience them. The hotel is in a pretty central position, just a few minutes from Hauptbahnhof, and close to shopping centres and entertainment locations.
The most obvious disadvantage of the room is that the shower is made of glass, with a curtain hanging outside of the glass. The glass isn't even matted. For couples and families, this is probably not a problem, but for our business trip, this was quite awkward and put us at unease. The other major issue was that there was only 2 light switches for the whole room. One controls all the lights in the room (and there are way too many of these lights), and the other one the toilet, the shower and the washer (again way too much light). This was quite disturbing and problematic. You can't just take a shower with a little bit of light and relax. There are 2 lamps directly above your head, and 2 strong ones just out of the glass door. It was also interesting how expensive the parking was. 15 EUR per night, when you can park the car on the street for 3 EUR a day, just 10 minutes away from the hotel. It also goes without saying that such expensive WiFi is not exactly a delight for a room that expensive. It was also a bit surprising that the TV was rather small and not in front of the beds, but to the left. Instead an unnecessarily large mirror was positioned in front of the beds.
Staff very helpful in delivering item left behind.
Very comfortable bed, great breakfast, short walk from the station and friendly staff. Good view of the tops of the spires of the old city.
While the room on the 9th floor had a good view it was not quite the spectacular view of the old city that I'd hoped for. Felt we needed to be higher up for that!
Excellent rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Great location.
Wifi not included in room rate, which is just not of this time anymore. Expensive breakfast, we went elsewhere instead.
parking only available at the central railway station
very convenient and staff were helpful
Almost everywhere in the world you´re getting now wireless Internet access for free. At this hotel, you have to become a member of a club to enjoy free access, otherwise you have to pay. Membership is free, but to require this is completely outdated.
1. Had to chase twice for replacement toileteries. 2. Overpriced services - prospective visitors may wish to note the exhorbitant prices for internet access - 12.50 euros a day, 0.25 lt bottle of water in room - 4.50 euros, breakfast - 19 euros per person. Visitors may wish to take breakfast in the nearby cafes where a very good breakfast can be obtained for 6 euros per person. 3. It would have been nice for the staff to have wished us a pleasant onward journey on check out after having paid a 600 euro bill.
everything except Wi-Fi access
The wiew from the window.
- excellent location in shopping area, easy to find places to dine or just grab and go, few steps from main train station which can be very easily reached either you come by trains or you fly. walking distance to the old town (about 15-20 mins) - my room 503 is very clean and has a good view of the neigborhood
- bathroom design as you shower next to your bed - bedding is good but pillow is too thin however they gave me a second one after my request - they don't fill toilettries unless you ask for it - breakfast was boring, everyday is the same, would be better to change a menu every 2-3 days
The view. Ask for a room to the pedestrians zone
just one key for 2 persons - while you need it for the elevator
