All I liked about this hotel was a very comfy bed and good shower. This hotel is overpriced for what it offers, no local suggestions or maps from the staff although there was a big flower festival on, no recommendations for this. No taxis at the wharf on arrival so it meant having to find the hotel on a very hot and busy afternoon, eventually asked 2 policemen (as one does) and then had to climb an enormous number of stairs to eventually get to reception. Location is bad when travelling by local transport, never again and no recommendation from me.

If I will return to Koblenz or surroundings I would like to stay in Hotel Mercure. It pleased very much to me, the location for the Altstadt visit is in walking distance.

Not too far from Frankfurt on our way to france. Good size rooms. Hard to find. Very little signs for the hotel. Road works did not help when you don't know where you are going.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, nothing too much trouble and we were met at all times with sincere smiles. We stayed in a superior double room on the 10th floor which had lovely views. Free wifi comes with this room - we experienced connection problems however the staff gave us an ethernet cable (that would not be of any use if only travelling with an Ipad).

Not a lot. A very mundane hotel We have been to this hotel before by car. It is very difficult to access the hotel by car unless you have a p hD in map reading. There are little or no signs indicating which roads to take when approaching the hotel. Although it is quite a prominent building, it is very easy to overshoot the hotel, drive across the river and then spend much time and frustration trying to return to hotel and find the access route.

Although it was a bit expensive, for a city it was a fair deal. The beds were ok. The rain shower and the breakfast were great! It was a bit expensive and it could us a small renovation.

Comfort of room/ bathroom, location of hotel next to river, exellent view from room, silence at night with no city or car noise. Breakfast is superb with the spread on offer, the restaurant well laid out with a great view of the gardens and in the distance the Rhein river. I will not hesitate to stay there again.

Spacious, well-presented room with comfortable beds. Super walk-in shower. Very good breakfast buffet, with a juicer for making fresh OJ and a selection of loose-leaf teas. Ideal location, on the river and about ten minutes walk from the old town. The pillows were not up to the standard of the rest of the fittings (we only stayed one night so it wasn't a big deal, but if we had been staying longer I would have asked for replacements). The car park is quite difficult to negotiate (tight turns at the end of rows and quite narrow spaces).

The staff very kindly organised a taxi for us to be taken down the Rhine to meet the boats for the Rhine in Flames and a return taxi at 1 am to bring us back. The taxi driver they booked was very helpful and ensured we got back safely. This service above all made our stay very enjoyable and can not thank your staff and the taxi driver enough. An excellent example of Customer Care and Service.

Room was clean and comfortable but rather small. Breakfast was good No real complaints but the B&B cost of nearly 150 Euros is over the top. There was a lack of information about the city and surrounding area.

The hotel front desk staff (Tai and Correna) were very helpful in changing our room and giving directions to old town. Correna also helped when we were extremely dissatisfied with our Saturday night dinner in the hotel restaurant. If your going to open a restaurant; have enough staff to prepare and serve the food. We waited one hour for a bowel of soup and longer for the main course. There was no management at the restaurant to request assistance in the matter. The place was sixty to seventy percent empty, and our server apologized; saying they were busy. Unacceptable.

Excellent location, cleanlines, staff excellent in most Euro languages and knowledgeable. Easy access to Boat Trips, Trains, the Moselle Valley and the Hunsruck. We will return.
