The room was nice and clean, the staff were very friendly Personally, I find the hotel quite a bit of walk from town. It is a good 20 min if not more, not very comfortable in a cold windy day. And during our stay, there was a lot going on in the conference room directly above our room. Noices and screetches of furniture being pushed about -- our room basically shook. It didn't stop even after we complaint. The sauna is rather miserable, with limited and tired-looking facilities that are long due for renovation. Overall, not value for money. My recommendation would be: pay either 30EUR less for a similar room without sauna in a beautiful guesthouse, or 30EUR more for better facilities in better hotels. Sad to say it was a dissapointment. |

The Hotel Koblenz was in an excellent location for cruising the Rhine and Mozel rivers. The room had lovely views of the river. It was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Brilliant food next door. We needed a kettle, tea, coffee & milk. In our room. It was very expensive for breakfast $40 each Australian !!! |

It`s a hotel with good standards. The location is good - the walk up the river-side to the town is attractive, as long as the weather is O.K. The staff are efficient and very friendly. The signage into the hotel from the underground garage is terrible ; you simply can`t see the door and its accompanying sign unless you`re directly in front of it - which is unlikely upon arrival. This is a minor gripe, but it grates when you have walked about four hundred metres out of the garage, with your bags, only to find you could have entered much more easily and directly. |
